Of course, market prices make that hard to tell exactly, but yeah, you can technically say you can get income even if it's stripping yourself.

If by any chance being the important words. The integral words.

Keeping in mind that if I sell my gear to make this money, i'd lose the strength I use to actually earn mesos to be 'rich'. Stupid argument, herp derp.

Yet it's something that is considered income, since it's mutually a way to make money, and to spend it.

You can get new gear, or scroll it yourself. If you are successful in scrolling something, you can sell your old gear to recover that money, or even make a profit, depending on how the scrolling went. That makes it something that can get you income from, it's not that much of a twist.

Of course, that rules out untradeable stuff. That's a one way inversion.

Yes, my gear is expensive. Does that make me rich? Depends on how you define rich.
Insignificant semantics?
What you meant was "not all high levels are rich".
What you said was "all high levels are not rich".

And 'rich' is defined by 'personal worth'.
That's why there are taxes on property as well as income.

I'm sorry that admitting your mistakes is so damn hard. Must make life difficult.

Again, the irony is pretty overwhelming, but who's complaining?

You're arguing with the dictionary definition of rich, which is having a lot of assets or money. If your equipment makes you money, it's practically the in-game equivalent of a bond, which means you're rich. At least, compared to someone like me, who might have ~500 million between all of my characters with all their money and their equips.

White is out of touch with the average mapler. They are not who he trains with or deals with day in day out. He is surrounded by very above average players as most 170+ active bossers are. He's not exactly bill gatin', but he ain't no middle class.

White you're rich. Yes it is relative. And relative to the average, you're very damn wealthy. Most maplers don't touch 2b in their maple careers. So wearing 14+ makes you pretty damn rich.

You. You are complaining.

I've admitted I've wrong on plenty of occasions.
Perhaps, if you wish to witness it, you should spend more time being correct.

And you should probably pick up some Preparation H if previous discussions are still irritating you so much.

This (and what Kabanaw said).

It kinda gets tiring to see players that are vastly over-average try to say that they aren't.
Personally, I'm pretty well funded, but I'm not rich. Not a single item I own is worth 1bil, let alone 2.
In fact, my total worth is likely no more than 2bil.

Fair enough.

Keeping in mind that this thread is a discussion in Empress (the hardest boss in the game for those regions that have her) and if her minions drop equips. Not trying to be overly presumptuous in assuming that only above average players can even kill her minions, and thus this discussion, from my end anyway, is tailored to be more accurate.

Haha. Maybe you should brush up on your definition skills, for I am far from "complaining" in that post.
