Oh I didn't know it was a drop chance. When [MENTION=12197]Vontos[/MENTION] killed Skeletron, I got the trophy in my inventory automatically even though I was nowhere near the dungeon and I didn't participate. I figured it was an item you got whenever you defeated the bosses for the first time.

Oh, well then LOL. I didn't even notice you gave it to me. I was organizing the chests and I saw it in my inventory.

I just got this from a slime zombie during a blood moon:

 Slime Staff

It's actually REALLY pineappleing powerful.
It summons a pet which is basically permanent, it follows you and attacks on it's own accord. As i'm typing this it's wiping out an entire horde of zombies during a blood moon while I alt+tabbed out.

You can use other weapons while it's out too, it can deal 100 damage in just a few seconds.

Incoming Terraria update!

The game will no longer look for the square root of zero.
Projectiles and harpoon should no longer cause out of memory exception
The guide will no longer say you need a hammer to break life crystals
The guide will no longer say you need 10 fallen stars to make a mana crystal
Dungeon platform item icons will now display the right color
Clay pot dupe no longer works
Snipers will now drop sniper rifles
Opening doors will no longer cause a room to be unsuitable
Hardmode summon items will no longer drop from monsters that have been spawned from statues
Chests, crystal hearts, and statues should no longer spawn on ice
Crafting recipe for sticky glowsticks has been fixed
Pumping honey will no longer turn honey into water
Fixed trashing coin dupe
Shadow orb and fairy bell no longer show a duration
If you place a bed somewhere that would cause you to not spawn without breaking through blocks you will now get a message when trying to set your spawn point letting you know the bed is not in a suitable position.
Fixed a bug with cooking marshmallows with your mouse
Blackout debuff can no longer be removed by right clicking it
Slightly reduced how much memory the map requires on large worlds
You can no longer use actuators to deactivate temple blocks before killing Plantera
The flare gun will no longer light up when you are out of torches
You can now craft battle potions with vertebrae
Lihzahrd altar should now spawn and use power cells properly
Minimum particle display has been increased for certain conditions
Switch duplication no longer works
Notes from the magical harp now count as magic and should trigger the spectre set bonus
Bombs will no longer blow up chlorophyte
You can no longer break into Lihzahrd temple with chlorophyte drill
Blue flares have been added to the game and can be purchased by the merchant if you have a flare gun

... Oops. I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to have that yet.

I'm super proud of what I made in just two days starting from scratch with the world and character.
I made a treehouse that's freaking incredible and i'm pretty tough on myself with making stuff.

I wish I could show some people... I especially love the hive part in my house haha.

Also,

- Found a pet turtle.
- Found a pet hornet from Queen Bee.
- Got the full bee set.
- Got the bee sword and gun.
- Got a bee hive staff.

I'm extremely addicted...

Found this thing a couple times now, smacking it with a hammer or lead pickaxe does nothing more than change its appearance. Curious what it is.

Looks like crimtane ore. You need a more powerful pickaxe.

Or bombs. bombs work wonders.

Just updated the SP server. Please update to 1.2.0.2 if you haven't already, otherwise you can't get on.
I noticed a couple people tried to get on a few moments ago, but I didn't update to 1.2.0.2. Apologize for that.

Can you guys let me know what you think of my house? I've NEVER built anything in Terraria before -- it's hard as pineapple and makes me feel like I'm trying to do sprite art, but I think it's coming along decently.

I'm in a rough state of not only building this, but "transforming" the rest of my CURRENT house/rooms into this theme, which is why you see completely different tiles on the right of the first image. It's been so tedious, but it's pretty fun.

I love it when Terraria [server] randomly crashes for no reason whatsoever :|

I think that little crash caused a mini rollback. Some seeds I took out of my chests respawned and my bossfighting accessories all disappeared.

Yeah I'm pretty sure there was a rollback. I tried saving after the "Terraria.exe has stopped working" error popped up, but nothing happened to any avail

Had my first Goblin Invasion tonight, I forgot how much those sucked with newbie gears... Ended up climbing to the top of my house, making an impromptu pit with bombs and lobbed grenades I'd gotten out of chests at them after they fell into the pit. And then maybe 2 minutes later had a random spawn of the Eye of Cthulu, and me without any ranged weapons yet besides a basic boomerang... Fun night, if not slightly annoying at times.

I joined a friend who's in Hard Mode at the moment...and had a snowman invasion. They were all holding machine guns. It was painful.

Can anyone give me some tips on what i've made so far?
