I find it funny how my friends and I just decided to start a Nuzlocke on our gen 3 cartridges a couple of days ago, and then we get this announcement. To think it'll be here so soon, Im beyond excited! I hope we get to go to Kalos too, just because of all the references in X and Y.

I was thoroughly convinced that they were Mega Evolutions when I first saw the announcement trailer and the brief few moments of the games' boxarts. Then in one of the announcement threads I was reading, someone did a comparison picture and it's pretty clear that thatGroudon and Kyogre are quite different than the normal Groudon and Kyogre. I'd say it's a safe bet that those are Megas.

Following its reveal yesterday, there has been some question as to the actual content of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, as to whether they're remakes or new versions due to the wording of the announcement. During the Investor Briefing today, Satoru Iwata confirmed that Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire are full-remakes of the 2002 releases, Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire. I wasn't super super fond of Hoenn, but if these games have a Battle Frontier I'm buying them on release anyways. X/Y's lack of a Battle Frontier killed me inside.

The Japanese arm of The Pokémon Company sent out an e-mail to all Daisuki Club members which ends up pointing out the differences to Groudon & Kyogre on the box-art, stating that they're showcasing "never before seen Pokémon", the same terminology they used for Black & White Kyurem, as well as Mega Mewtwo Y upon their reveal, indicating that they are more than stylised artwork of the Pokémon. Huh? I thought that the battery in gen 3 only affected the barries.
I just checked my sapphire and the save is still there(unlike my gold T-T).
