Pokémon X and Y Playthrough Discussion

I am having a hell of a time planning out my 6th Gen main story team... As it stands now, what I plan to go with is:

Greninja (Water/Dark)
Tyrantrum (Rock/Dragon)
Aegislash (Steel/Ghost)
Pangoro (Fight/Dark)
???
???

But I dunno what to do for the last two slots. I definitely want one to be filled by a Fairy-Type, but I can't decide which Fairy to go with. I'm debating between Klefki (good typing, Prankster for ability with moves to work with said ability), Carbink (absolutely pineappleing monster of a tank, also has support moves), or Florges (decently high SPA and SPD, and pretty good Speed). And then for my final slot, I'm just lost. I was considering Avalugg, he has a huge Attack stat, but there are very little Ice-Type physical moves to make use of that, and I was also considering Meowstic, but from what I've heard, it's got rather lackluster stats all around.

Is Charmander really the only one with a split mega? I'm having a hard time deciding between him and Bulbasaur.

Sadly Charmander is, indeed, the only one with a split Mega Evolution.

And you can get the event Torchic right now. Just go to the Mystery Gift option at the game's menu and then pick him up at the Pokecenter in-game.

Okay, thanks. Hmmmm... I really like Charizard X, but his mega ability kinda sucks. I think I'll pick up a Bulbasaur buuuttt euurrggg this decision is hard.

Is there a way to exit the 1st gym...? I kinda want to use the Pokemon Center. :f6:

My team so far is looking to end up being Delphox/Sylveon/Venusaur/Dragalge and then whatever else I find that strikes my fancy.

My team for the story playthrough is Greninja, Charizard, Pidgeot, Gardevoir, Tyrunt, and Pangoro.

Like most everyone else, I really am just loving this game.

you should keep one of them in your pc so everyone in sp can grab some pokerus

Uhh MegaHeracross was done in such a bad taste...
I still think MegaAmpharos is still the most fab design yet.

I am I'm catching a bunch of random pokemon to trade out after I evolve them for the pokedex so everyone can have some pokerus.

I'm kinda overleveled imo, hopefully the 2nd gym is a bit stronger. My team is 24+ while npcs are like level 15, except for the psyduck and honedge I just caught. They replaced two other level 24s also. If the second gym isn't that strong, I'll box my current guys except maybe one and then use another team until my other guys are low enough to not be super pubstomp. I'm okay with this cause then I can use more pokemon in the end. =3

Same thing happened to me. O.o

I seem to be having some pretty insane luck with this game.

- Pikachu within 15 mins of entering the forest
- Two Ralts in a row (and a third about 10 mins later)
- Shiny Pancham
- Female Combee within first 10 mins of searching.
- Abra in a similar amount of time.
- First thing that pops in Route 6's grass is Nincada (supposedly rare).

Can't find a Riolu or a male Litleo for the life of me though. Accidentally killed the only Plusle I've found to date, and haven't seen hide nor hair of Weedle.

Just reached the 4th gym with:

Greninja - Level 36
Pikachu - Level 33
Fletchinder - Level 33
Venusaur - Level 35
Tyrunt - Level 33
Blaziken - Level 40

Probably gonna swap out the Blaziken for something soon, it gained boosted exp and is far outstripping the rest of my team. Fletchinder is sort of weak so far; mine only knows Peck, Ember, Agility, and Roost. I did finally get the Fly HM so maybe that'll help a bit, and I also got a Lucky Egg for easier Tyrunt leveling. So far I have about 8 or 9 hours on my game time and still have stuff I need to go back and check out.

Been doing Pokemon-Amie and Froakie just keeps its eye closed. It's either going -_- or >_< .

Team consists of Froakie, Fletchling, Pikachu, Azurill, Torchic, and Bunnelby to pick up items.

I love how Magikarp just flops on the spot.

Speaking of boosted EXP, my Braixen has been getting boosted EXP since last night for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I thought it might have been an O-Power, but surely that wouldn't last overnight!

Was playing with a friend for a friend to collect both Gen I and VI starters. We traded our beginning starters to boost EXP gain rate.

Froakie << Fennekin =< Chespin. Rollout is OP. Without Butterfree, Froakie runs become very difficult if it doesn't have water pulse.
