Deleted Characters Being Reviewed

Maybe they are too busy freaking out or trying to find some random solution before a lot of their player base quits or rages to remember to take the servers down. Either that or since this didn't directly affect the economy, they don't want to take it down.

I do like this more than normal Nexon behavior.

I would call it a bit more than "aggravation" or "annoyance", at this point. Hell, I would call it much more than that as of a year ago. They banned some hackers, but why now, when the hackers are the LEAST dangerous to the game? Why not before, when the things they did actually mattered? And on top of that, why is it that the only time they do something remotely right, they still screw it up royally and delete tons of legits too? None of these things are acceptable. NONE.

I think they used the date of acquiring the skill, but put it like way back in April. Might be some Korean programmer entered 10-4-11 instead of 4-10-11 (or vice versa). Not enough data in the deleted chars list (too many people saying "shortly after UAs were created") to be sure, though.

It could be a possible reason why I wasn't hit. I got Empress Might and Level 1/2/3/4/5 Soul Driver within the first week the LHC / UA patch hit and I finished SD on the 15th of March.
Granted it's very hard to even consider since very very few people even bothered getting their Cygnus skill to level 5 during March. Most people didn't even start working on the skills until April.

i must admit i was tempted to find a look i *almost* liked and buy some nx to fix it up. but then i just kept using envelopes instead.

This. They do it every time and always ignore the option of rolling back when in reality it is the best option.
Rolling back to right before the servers went down for the maintenance would've solved everything.

Their logic has never made sense to me. They don't want to rollback because they don't want to affect the players. Well, guess what? By not rolling back, you're affecting a even larger portion of the population. If such is the case, why NOT rollback? Or why not at least take the game down, use your usual "stability" excuse, decide over a cup of coffee while we all wait for the server check to pass, and then make a move that you've thought over. I'm positive that almost everyone will be happy there is a server check for once instead of complaining about it!

They should of just issued permanent bans like always during these types of exploits so they could unban anyone who was accidentally affected later.

If its not a lie then why would you block me from the forums? Shouldn't you have brought the servers down right away in the first place so that nobody gets affected?

Right you don't have an answer to these questions because you know I stated facts. If trying to block me from the forum is your solution to keep people from knowing the truth then you just failed.

Also, The developers know that the only way to bring them back is through a rollback but your egos/prides are too far up your ases that you won't admit you fked up.

You want a solution, Rollback to November 2, 5:00AM cut your losses and move on. There were other issues that greatly hurt this game and all you did was turn away and pretend nothing happened. Enhancement exploited weapons which still exist, Dupes, Server crashes, Account hackings,Instant level up exploit.What was your solution to that? Oh that's right YOU DID NOTHING, I personally presented you with evidence of the people who were behind this, pictures, videos, reporting them and I still see those players bragging those same items. You let all these things that actually hurt the game go, but a simple exploit that doesn't even hurt the game comes up and you start raging and taking actions without logically thinking what effects it will have why because it hurt your little egos Well guess what Hime truth doesn't it? No, I only lost 56,160 hours of having the character, they can't roll back today's uptime. Those 5-10 hours of loss would affect so many people. Thousands, even.

Non-warriors couldn't do it until much later.
So, here's an easy question: Does anyone know a non-warrior, non UA, with a Cygnus skill, who didn't get deleted?

I'm thinking hard on this, they rollback for meso exploits like the npc sales like it's a must(I agree it is). But things like people losing things to mushies and "lolaccidentally" deleted characters which is more severe. Rather than rbing the problem asap even though they realized the first day. They let it go on for weeks and tells us there is no solution and rb isn't a option since weeks have been passed. Seriously It's like you make a mistake but instead of taking the best solution to the problem with the least risks, you continue to fix it even though you have no idea how to do it and in the end it's too late to use the best solution. I mean they can be crappy coders all they want, but the decision making in the company is completely stupid, what sort of mind do they have really?

This kinda makes me wonder if I should continue to play this game or not. I didnt lose anything but my bam got banned for using dark chains at mp3 (nothing big anyway, new account and lvl 9x with no items. However if this is how they deal with big problems, what will be the next? Just look at shikage, he got banned for leveling too fast on his cannoneer but yes he got unbanned. What if he didnt? 1000000 hours spent into NOTHING because nexon cant fix their own system. And Im sure there were some people that got left behind.

In the end mmorpg's are just for fun and entertainment but I never thought that people who still enjoy it should be forced to quit because of nexons mistake.

This would be more valid if they hadn't just recently held an event that allowed for just that.
The only difference here is that people got to choose specifically what they wanted.
