I Give You, The PS3 Slim!

I don't get the excuse that PS3 doesn't have a game library.

xbox 360 sucks for several reasons

• It's like a 2x exp coupon, you need to buy one every 90 days.
  

• Project natal sucks, i dont want to be hopping around like a jackass in my room
  

• OOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhh halo 3, gears of war and fable 2. Those games are overhyped as f-u-c-k
  

• Disc-tray. ROFL
  

• No blu-ray.
  

Ps3 rules for several reasons

• Great exclusives which came out/coming out soon
  

Infamous, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Gran turisimo 5, God of war 3, Killzone 2, Metal gear solid 4 and more

• Games that aren't exclusive Look great on both consoles, but games that are exclusive on the ps3 look about 3 times better on the PS3. That's because the ps3 versions of the non-exclusive games need to be cut down to fit both consoles.
  

Blu-ray player.

• Playstation 3 plays on True FullHD 1080p, While the xbox 360 is limited to720p
  

• The price is now 300$, While the arcade version of the xbox is 200$, Personally, I would pay a 100$ more for a superior more advanced console than a 90 day console that doesn't even have a hard drive (LOL)
  

Now, after stating all these facts, I can say that I dont own either consoles, So im not even biased. these are all pineappleing facts, if you bough an xbox and regret it, don't say the ps3 doesnt have a wide game library, because its pineappleing gigantic. lol

I'm just looking from a consumers view, Im planning on buying a PS3.
I meant you need to buy a new xbox 360 every 90 days because each one of my friends xbox's got the RROD, it might take some time, but it got to them. I also have a few friends that got RROD'D with the jasper version so dont give me excuses.

Xbox 360's exclusives might taste better to some people, But the ps3 exclusives like god of war 3, infamous and uncharted 2 just lure me more towards the ps3, that's all.

My point it, for the same price of an xbox 360 elite, you can get a playstation 3 with a blu-ray player and to be honest I like the multi-platform games the most. So im winning a blu-ray player, the exclusives I like and the multi-platform games I like as opposed to a dvd player, The exclusives that i don't like and same multi-platform games.

That's my 2 cents

That's exactly what I'm stating because it's true. That's no intended to bash them in any way what so ever. I'm saying this now, I have nothing against the PS3. I'm ever going to buy a Slim shortly after it comes out. But that one-sided post of yours bashing the Xbox was completely stupid. I'm glad you're gonna get a cheap Blu-ray player at Sony's loss. Yes, our failure rates our higher than the PS3's but there's always something wrong with everything. The PS3's failure rate is 1/5th the rate of the Xbox's, but that doesn't make it any better. You send in your Xbox, get another one in a week or two. Hell, if you even call them up and peach at them, you'll get a few free games, like I did.

Nothing wrong with that. But in your post you made it seem like the PS3 exclusives are better, just because they are. Each console gets their great list of exclusives. But when it comes down to it, we actually stole some of those away (GTA4, FF13).

My post wasn't meant to be biased, which it may have sounded that way because I was defending the Xbox. My point is, there's nothing wrong with either console. Everyone has their own taste. But, if you do look at the facts, the Xbox has much more to offer right now, as well as in the coming months.

Really, seeing a PS3 (probably could go for a 360 also) playing on an old as hell tube TV, still having decent graphics, and then moving to a 32 inch 720p tv, its well worth the extra "2%" as you put it.

Also, ive stated in the first project natal thread (e3 thread) that its the same concept that was being produced for the PS3 Eye, just hope they really come through.

That's the thing. I don't. About half of the games I want for the PS3 are exclusive, but the other half are multi-platform. So I don't really care if they're not exclusive, as long as the ones I want are on the PS3.

And the number of total games doesn't matter. The number of games I'd actually buy/play does. And that number is actually higher for the PS3.

All of these OMGEXCLUSIVES people forget that quality > quantity.

PS3 will have a hell of a lot more to work with after their fan base swells. The difference between $300 and $400 is enormous, especially for the majority of gamers.

Not exactly, I don't even play KH, but it's a PS game. I'm always playing Guitar Hero and/or Rock Band, because I find the controllers to lag less on the PS3. It seems to me, in my experience, that 360 guitars are a little more fragile, and Wii guitars just lag like pomegranate.

Square has already proven to us that they're not a one-console type of person. Otherwise Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories would have been on one of the Sony platforms. With the PSP getting Birth by Sleep and Nintendo's DS getting 358/2 Days, it shows us again that Square isn't sticking to just Sony stuff.

The main reason I don't think we've seen some of these established franchises on the original Xbox is the fact that it was a new console, flying out competing with the Gamecube and PS2. Why would company's take that gamble of spending millions in developing and publishing a game on a console, that could overall fail? The thing is, the Xbox is well established and is on it's feet, pretty darn high. I have no doubts, we'll be seeing Kingdom Hearts 3 on the 360. That's if we even get it this generation.

I don't see why anybody has to have completely realistic graphics in a video game though. I mean, pomegranate, don't we play those to get away from real life? Or to have fun? If you want to see a beautiful fully rendered landscape, there's one right outside your window. If you want to jump inside somebody's brain, or spontaneously create a cartoony helicopter for fun, you've got video games. Realism should have no part of it.

But okay, fine, cell processor. Holy pomegranate, that's got to be the best video game maker ever. Minor improvement with blu-ray technology. Hot damn, we sure don't need any gameplay.

Edit: I'm out of this argument. This whole generation is full of graphics whores and poorly done innovators, and I've said my piece. I ONLY want a next gen system because my favorite game series continues on it. And because it has fantastic gameplay. The Wii doesn't play too well in my experience, the other consoles have, like, 2 original games I'm interested in. I've never had any sort of fun with this generation. I'm sticking to the ACTUAL good fun stuff I enjoy.

Now, there's not much to the Elite vs. the Pro version, but if Microsoft went out of their way to hellishly lower the Pro price, to somewhere around $199, then I could see people pretty much giving up the idea of buying a PS3. There is discussion as to this is just getting rid of old stock due to Microsoft adding the "final chipset" to their 360.

And yes, I agree with the "graphic whore" etc. idea, I mean, some people sit all day and just peach about the Blu-Ray the PS3 has or how many RROD's happen. Microsoft isn't that bad of company. They'll repair your system. Replace it even I think. I think they give you a fairly good deal for $300-400 where only those who wish to peach constantly about such little things that are missing instead of looking at the bigger picture. It's kindof like how we treat Nexon really.

Nexon gives us a free game to play. They create a gigantic interface and world for us to play in with lots of features. And all people do all day is rip on other people, smega how awesome they are/how much they hate Nexon or troll forums and bitching to whoever lets them talk. They don't need to give you a free game, they can ban you no matter what you do, because if you put confidence into a company in this day and age, well, you're going to be f***ed one way or another. So just enjoy your Xbox 360, or your Ps3, or your Maplestoriez. It's just a game

Microsoft isn't that bad of company. They'll repair your system. Replace it even I think.

Actually, the pro is getting axed. The Arcade bundle will remain at the $199 mark and the Elite with drop down to $299, like in the picture. Why they'd axe the Pro, I don't know (lol). It seems kind of important to include a hard drive with this generation. A good chuck of today's games have been DLC driven, expanding the life-time of games longer than the original content provided. Look at Fallout 3. The final expansion was just released last month, almost reaching a full year life cycle.

And, about 6 months when I got my RROD of my first Xbox, Microsoft sent me a brand new one. It was also a newer model, because my last didn't have an HDMI port but the new one did. To clarify, I had my first Xbox which I got the RROD then I upgraded to the Elite about a year later.

Nonono...you missed my point completely. GT5 has been in development for like...5 years I think now, and they don't seem to be any closer to finishing when they started. As I said, I like Forza better, it even looks better to me because of the vinyls and stuff. (My friend put Megan Fox on a Ferrari.)

First of all, no one i know has ever gotten an RROD. Second of all, unless you're retarded you won't get one. I heard about some dude who had to physically slam his xbox against a table until he got an RROD.
