I need to breed a few more pokes still but I'm thinking about possibly breeding a Poison Heal Gliscor at some point, hm.
I have Impish immunity Gligars (Poison heal when it evolves). You can have one if you'd like~

I learned something very important today about IV breeding and checking whether your pokemon requires egg moves FIRST.
7 boxes of pokémon.... an entire day's work.... wasted.

Breeding sure takes a while.
Got my first 6 IV goomy. Sadly it's a male without Gooey. But I'll keep trying. I've got quite a lot of 5 IV ones now though
Been making sure to keep them all neutral nature though for my own purposes
I'll make some with random natures to give out for anyone who wants one... but that will come later.
Next on the list:
Fletchinder
Mareep (Amphabulous)
other stuff, not sure...

Maybe we can have a dedicated breeding thread.
I finished making my 5iv Reuniclus with Bold nature and Magic Guard. Life Orb Calm Mind will be fun. If anyone wants one, just ask.
Next, I'm going to make a 5iv Mawile if anyone's interested.

I'll gladly take one of those offsprings that you were about to throw out because it only had 4 ivs instead of 5, but dw about breeding like extra 5iv ones unless you somehow find it fun o - o"

Anyone got a spare Charizardite X that they can trade to me? Been wanting to try out Mega Charizard X for a bit, but I have Y version, so I can't unless I trade.

Man, my Reuniclus got 4 Calm Minds off with recover stall and was ready to sweep. Then, a Glaceon crits me with Blizzard and I die in one hit. That's when I learned that stat modifiers mean absolutely nothing if they get a critical hit, so those 4 sp.def boosts were completely useless.
I need to rethink my strategy or not be so greedy with boosts...

What kind of battle are you calm minding against? o-o
At least in XY... Crit damage was reduced from 200% to 150%... But that's still enough crit hax to screw you over.
Anyway, I've been doing a lot of rated triple battles. So far, I have a rating of 1762, 51 wins and 24 losses... There's also quite a bit of luck crit and RNG hax during those battles as anywhere else. An example would be a quick claw activating 4 times in a row with an OHKO move (luckily only one landed), and someone else successfully casting wide guard 3 times a row. I sort of know what kind of things screw me over, but oh well.

Apparently, if Farfetch'd holds a Stick and uses an increased crit move, it's now programmed to be 100% crit lol. I have to try this myself because that's hilarious. Getting Leaf Blade, Night Slash, and a STAB Slash (stab slash!) with Swords Dance is pretty cool for this poor bird. I think Grass and Dark covers everything that isn't hit by its STAB Normal. Would be interesting in a Trick Room team.

It was in Maison. I thought I had a safe setup especially after 2 calm minds but lol crits. Well it hit neutrally with blizzard so it definitely kills... I guess.
The turn I wanted to use Focus Blast for overkill it activated Quick Claw (which doesn't matter because Reuniclus is sloooow) and then a crit Blizzard.
Oh well.

Drapion could've been used as a niche/gimmick with his crit hax. Cross poison/night slash + sniper + crit boosting item(?).
Imo, Reuniclus is better suited for trick room or gravity teams.
With all the calm minds, you'd probably be able to OHKO stuff on things that don't resist it anyway. This might just be me, but I hate focus blast's accuracy so much, that I'd rather have something more reliable to use. Either another coverage move, or hidden power as a last resort. I can't help it but feel the RNG just hates me whenever I miss with it. I can deal with 90+ accuracy moves though.

I would have just used Psychic but with 4 Calm Mind + SE move + Life Orb just sounded fun at the time.
Focus Blast is pretty much required to not force a switch if anything Dark comes out.
Also, it's not just increasing crit to reliable levels or that kind of gimmick, the Stick item on Farfetch'd literally just makes him crit 100%, no other mechanics involved. It's apparently an update in Gen VI.
Farfetch'd still sucks but it's still a cool thought they put onto him.

I'm thinking of changing around my team again. I've been doing pretty well with it especially in triple battles. Setting up sandstorm with Tyranitar and Excadrill, basically capable of sweeping just about anything barring trick room oriented teams.
With that said, I think I might replace Tyranitar with Kangaskhan and maybe Excadrill for mold breaker. Talonflame can priority tailwind the whole team so it doesn't have to rely on sand that much. Might not fix the trick room problem, but we'll see after.
Tyranitar with an assault vest is really a big special tank though. Special attackers had a tough time taking it down, tanking dazzling gleams/moon blasts, hydro pumps, and even focus blasts from certain stuff. Not to mention that some of those miss quite a bit.

if trick room is a problem, then try to fit someone with taunt; it usually stops set up unless they used follow me (in which the pokemon can't use follow me anymore)
(even funnier is when both teams have TR and the slower team's room gets cancelled out by the same move!)
talonflame learns taunt but trick room is negative priority so any mon can work fitting it if you don't want a moveslot being wasted on the birdy.
i'm thinking of changing around my moves on my team, not members per se, but i've theorized klefki gaining dual screens (dat priority) and carbink utilizing trick room. thunder wave is really useful but carbink doesn't last long enough to use screens (or is set up on) and come back in when they are down. spikes i am still using as it breaks focus sashes/sturdy

Sandstorm was also useful in breaking focus sashes, sturdy, and multiscale from Dragonite.
Taunt won't work too well without priority. It might be odd, but I used a regular Rotom with trick, volt switch, hidden power ice, and choice scarf to screw over any wall/support users I see, particularly Reuniclus, Dusclops (with an eviolite) and carbink/Klefki. I also crippled many Greninjas with it as well, and some of them didn't expect it. It's also capable of revenge killing weakened 4x ice weak dragons and can KO a MegaGengar with shadow ball.
I did win against one particular trick room team. I choice scarf locked a Rhyperior into using hammer arm (stole an assault vest in the process), so that minimized the damage and walled it against my Rotom and birds.
