Thanks god. My new Evan project would be without gear if they did a failback. So, a massive deletion of scrolls and/or banfest supreme! Yummy!

I bought about 20 chaos scrolls and legitmately earned another 5 or 7 through the event.

I simply bought the 20 to store for a later date, maybe another year down the line. I hope that doesn't put me within firing range. I have seen people selling thousands.

Even with no rollback I'm rather worried about the economy with 250-300m 10ATT WG's. >_>

I think they take action of people with loads of scrolls. I read on basil that some bought 1k+. I doubt you'll be affected with having 20 scrolls and 5-7 legit ones.

I think that if they ban people with 20 scrolls, they're going to be left with very few players.
Worst they can do is delete your scrolls.

To them, no direct meso exploit means minimal impact on the econ. They're idiots. What's more is, if they don't clean up this mess now and decide to mass ban people later who unknowingly purchase hacked items, it'll be even more messed up. For safety, I'm probably going to avoid going to the FM at all for the next few weeks. This kind of move by Nexon makes me want to quit for good.

Whatever they decide to do, or not do, will be over with once this maintenance is done. If they remove items or ban people, they're doing it now.

But, Nexon being Nexon... Probably safest to avoid FM or anything to do with this event, even after the current issue is "resolved". Just in case, you know, a new exploit appears. (Easy for me to say, I'm hiding in LHC except for occasional repotting forays. No event items drop there, so I'm not even tempted to redeem them.)

While looking for some item on my mules, i looted 2 piles of 100 scrolls, that someone dropped, i'm guessing that mule account will be banned -_-

Nexon's actions are incomprehensible. If you recall the recent massive dupings, the exploiters should have been banned with their items removed immediately. A week later, some of my friends bought white scrolls from the Free Market (thinking the duped white scrolls are gone) and used them. A week later, Nexon has decided to ban them permanently. Tickets were filed, support was posted for on their forums, there was no convincing Nexon. These are level 200 players who did nothing wrong. Nexon isn't a company who's proned to act quickly as you can tell from their huge delay this weekend. They wait an X amount of time for no identifiable reason.

Yeah, rankings haven't updated since about the 23rd.

Why are you seemingly so angry? While Nexon lacks customer service skills there isn't really any proof that they weren't trying to find out how to fix it while keeping the game up. And the time Hime posted about it means nothing.

Their developers are retarded as fùck. Look at how the script was set up for the event. Any BASIC developer could easily create a better script than that. And I know because I am a developer. The NPC is not even checking if you actually have the item. That's a mistake a beginner wouldn't even make.

It's not just talking to an NPC and getting the item, they use packet editting so the server accepts your item even though it's not the correct one.

About time they do something.

too bad there won't be a roll back, a Jr. was hacked in my guild, we lost 25-30 people and 30k+ GP.

oh well, we can get it back with time.
