the end of 4th paragraph Wrote:...and the first and most popular of these is MapleStory, with 7.6 million registered users. These are dedicated players, too -- over the last quarter of 2010, MapleStory hosted 44 in-game weddings per day. Nexon keeps breaking its own records; for overall registered users, for revenue from them, and for concurrent users around the world.
So we're looking at around 30 employees to 7600000 ratio..... which equates to 1 employee per 253334 customers.
IMO, the problem here isnt about GM/MWLB not doing their jobs but rather the overwhelming ratio. A few years back, I gave up doing anything about hackers, since it's disturbing to see the same hackers in the same maps over and over again. Now at the present time, things are still the same. While you may see some list of people they banned, many of our daily game play remains miserable still.
For Nexon benefits, let assume they have a different department to manage their ticketing system. Problem is that it takes forever still for someone to actually get to your ticket, let alone trying to solve it.
This makes their PR gloats quite pathetic especially when
Quote:Nexon made $29 million in revenues in 2007, rising to $45 million in 2009 and double-digit growth over that last year
only to have customers experiencing the same pains since those years. What conclusive about this is that
"There is something like $1.5 billion of available cash in the pockets of people 17, 18 years old," he says, and Nexon is just taking its share and put it into their fat pockets. Further more,
"We look at this as a service, not a product," they have successfully discern the concept that "customer is always right". I guess 17 and 18 years old customers are extremely placid, or highly forgiving.
