ONE THING THOUGH.

I believe using a cube sets the item to UNIDENTIFIED, if a lens was used on it already, and not COMMON.

Just have a look at it, and make sure.

I believe this was confirmed in the previous threads we had on the potential system.

Quote:Item level bonuses;
Now depending on the level of the item you want to identify, you get increased benefits for the higher level your item is. Here is a quick summary of the increased benefits in relation to what rank the item is;

Lvl 1 to 30: Rare = 1%, Epic = 2%, Unique = 3%
Lvl 31 to 70: Rare = 2%, Epic = 4%, Unique = 6%
Lvl 71 or higher: Rare = 3%, Epic = 6%, Unique = 9%

Regarding these levels, I was under the impression LVL 120+ equips had a whole new level of 4% 8% and 12%. Can anyone confirm or deny this once and for all?

We can only confirm this with level 121+ equips. As far as I know, they don't exist in KMS.

^Nono, it's supposed to be 120+ (Yes, I realize this is different from the traditional X1 path.)

So request repeated...Can anyone verify this via lvl 120+ equips?

No. level.13 has less to do with level 120 than level.12.

Judging from the format in the data extraction (and the fact that we know that lvl 70 gear falls under the middle 2%/4%/6% boosts...

I'd say its 1-30, 31-70,71-120, 121+

I'm sorry, I don't know what that means. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I just don't know what those extraction lines refer? Can you put it into simpler clearer terms please? Thanks !

Basically, you get the bonus incSTRr 12 (or any other stat for that matter) by qualifying the level.13 requirement (as well as on a Unique item), as can be seen from the data. By level 13, however you interpret it, level 120 has very little to be relevant.

Quote:(3) .level.x
Given evidence, seems to indicate item level requirement - where item level is apparently from (10*x-9) to (10*x) - eg. level.1 is 1~10, level.12 is 111~120.
As you can see, +4/+8/+12 does not begin until level.13 which is lvl 121-130.

If you're confused, you should re-read the guide! Big Grin haha I'll explain.

The maker'd items don't come "unidentified" like items dropped from monsters can. You can however use a 70 or 90% potential scroll on your maker'd item to make it unidentified Smile

So maker away my friend!

Edit; Concerning the lvl 121+ items and their stat benefits; I wont' mention them, for now, for the sake of not confusing people. Once we start seeing some lvl 120+ items pop up I'll include more information on them =]

Also, I posted this guide on Sleepywood. They're butt holes though and censored all the credits I'm giving you guys =/ So I'm sorry if you saw this guide on SW and didn't see your name mentioned in the credits ;_; a GM edit'd my thread and censored Southperry and shouri, bribery, cyanne, kalovale, and Fiel's names Sad

Thanks again for all the help with this guys Big Grin I appreciate it.

If they won't give proper credit, remove the guide from the site. Easy as that.

Not all items that drop from monsters will be "unidentified", so wouldn't Maker be better when Potential scrolling?

If mods took out the credits, just insert them again, but rename Southperry and Fiel. Call Southperry, "The Land of Chinchillas", and Fiel, "King of the Chinchillas". They can't censor that since you're not directly referring to them. Big Grin

Sure they can. Everyone knows about this site's Chinchilla fetish. And what of shouri, bribery, cyanne, and kalovale? They aren't so famous.

If they won't let you credit people, take the guide down. :|

Ya you hit the nail on the head haha. Maker is our best friend!

I edited the credits on SW along the lines of what Zero said. I didn't mention any names, I just said "thanks to all my chinchilla loving friends!" If they censor that out, I'm gonna have to talk to an admin there or take it down. =[

Is it known how the skills additions from potential scrolling will work?
