In my opinion, the only reason why I consider nexon as a greedy company stealing money from the players is not because of the in game items that they provide, but because of their lack of security, customer service, and quality maintanance of the game. As Alex has said, no one's being forced to buy these items. Its each player's choice to buy these items, just like its each player's choice whether they buy NX items or participate in NX events.
This essentially boils down to companies wanting to (and actually succeeding) at making money. I ask you, what's wrong with a company trying to make money off their product? As I stated earlier, my only disagreement with Nexon is that they want your money WITHOUT providing quality service/security. Why should I be paying for mediocre, crappy service? To my understanding (I dont play WOW, so I wouldnt know), Blizzard's customer service and overall game maintance is drastically better than Maple's; you get what you pay for, so why not?
