They'll just take more NLC monsters and NPCs and use them, eventually getting rid of Masteria or moving it inside Neo City.

Neo Tokyo is only accessible after completing Neo City. It turns out your actions in traveling through time have created an entirely new future in which the monsters are preparing for your arrival and have been built strong, faster and harder. Original storyline in tact, otherwise.

If what you said really happened, I guess it would be great as both, low-mid lvls and high lvls would be able to get a chunk of this area. But if you look a bit into MapleStory and you see Ellin Forest, which has been unfinished for almost 2 years now, you see how smalls are the chancces of us of getting anything new for Neo City.

Kaede as always. At this point they could still easily include kaede without any problems. But instead of the super rare kaede castle quest item that is required to enter Neo Tokyo in JMS and MSEA, they could replace it with a quest item awarded to you after finishing Neo City. No big deal.

Adding Neo Tokyo as an after-thought to GMS, as long as they can justify it with a story like the one I just made up, would be entirely in Nexon America's hands and could be done fairly easily (I mean, besides all of the difficult work adding an area includes)

The problem is, I'm getting the feeling that there are some politics going on between various versions of MapleStory about what they're getting. It might prevent us from gettin gnaything that isn't Masteria (original content for us) or stuff from Korea.

Clearly this isn't the case since we've been getting Singapore updates and they're MSEA only.

Though I believe that KMS content always gets priority, and that's why we ended up with Neo City. I explained it pretty thoroughly in the massive tearfest called "RAGE AHOy". But, with what Hime has said, if for once she knows what she's talking about (don't count on it), there may be a chance we can still get Tokyo, which is also in MSEA (and JMS, of course.) Just hopefully they will introduce it in a way like I've proposed that doesn't feel sloppy like a random unexplained secondary version of the same area, but harder.

I would absolutely HATE to get my hopes up on the words of Hime.

I don't really see Nexon modifying already premade content, as much as I would love them to mesh neo city and tokyo together.

I really hope Kaede Castle doesn't get excluded from all this.

That'd be great, but I want to remind you that NEXON America mostly can't code stuff like that, and even if they only had to add one quest and modify some stuff, they'd still have to ask NEXON Korea to do that for them. And I'm not sure NEXON America wants to do something like that anyway.

I totally agree. But while in Ellin Forest there weren't any quests (well, there aren't any quests at all!) which "promised" us more of that, in Neo City the last quest clearly says that "you will understand one day" and "it is not over yet", which means that we SHOULD be getting more of it.

Though, seeing how -Hime- barely knows stuff about Global, I don't see how could she have any contacts with NEXON Korea's development team (since the Neo City expansion she's talking about isn't even released in KMST yet), so I highly doubt that what she said is based on any kind of proof. I mean, she probably based her statement on the last quest's text or, even worse, an assumption of her. She has proved to be wrong more than once.

So yes, she was replying to Keyblade. I think she meant that the new additions to Neo City are gonna be the same thing graphically as Neo Tokyo's, but with Neo City's level of crappyness. Aren't we missing some maps and stuff from Neo Tokyo in Neo City?

She's definitely implying Neo Tokyo but I still wouldn't trust her as far as I can throw her.

We didn't get to fight Dunas. It can be the "addition" but with the nerfed version of it.

Oh no, we're not wasting an update. It's going to be a big update and separately it also includes some additions to Neo City.

There you go, so we're probably getting a nerfed Dunas and maybe a few other NPC's and quests that don't make sense. I don't think we're getting any of the new weapons/stars/bullets, and if we do, they would be nerfed too.
