Looks like some of the griping wasn't uncalled for.

The mastery books you buy from the cash shop comes with a bonus... 1 extra SP! So when you apply them to your skill, it will add an extra skill point. So basically, you can now buy skill points.

Yes they are. I've seen normal Flying Assaulter and Sudden Raid books in the FM. They're just retardedly rare, so nobody knows what drops them.

Not being able to max Slash Storm is a peach though. I used an owl to see if there were any normal books in FM, and the only book that WAS in FM was a 100m CS book. :|

Doesn't matter if they're dropping or not. You would have to REALLY not care about your character to pass up the NX books. I'm not a damage whore or anything but the idea of missing out on 2 SP per skill (so what is that like 12 SP total?) would drive me nuts.

I think the skills that have CS books are only locked once, not twice (Slash Storm locks at 5 and requires 1 book, and Mirror Image probably locks at 15 and requires 1 book, since there's only an MI30 book in CS). Still, free SP is free SP.

When you buy a CS Book, you get a "60% scroll" to go with it. If you pass the scroll, you get 1 SP. You only get one book per skill by the way.

It's not necroposting to add an update to a topic that depended on a release that hadn't happened yet to resolve speculations within it.

Why are you guys getting so worked up over KMS charging money for 100% books... They have that thing where NX doesn't expire thus limiting their(KMS) profits. That and it is also a business but you can still see how they would have trouble making money with clothes and pets... At least thats how I see it.

People will get worked up as long as MapleStory is advertised as free to play.
