Bon apetit Nexon...

Originaly posted on Spadow´s blog

Finally. The wait is over. Dual Blade has arrived.

A couple of changes, the required job level for Dual Master has changed from 55 to 50.
Well.. The patch note says so, but it could be a typo.

The skills are complete obviously, but I will post them later. I’m anxious to play Dual Blade

In Cash Shop a few scroll items appeared. They are for the new job Dual Blade.

These items act like mastery books.
Two scrolls for 2nd, 3rd and 4th job.
They have a 100% chance of working.

Nexon, bon appétit.

Well, whoever said KMS isn't as likely to try and gouge money from their players, it's time to start eating your words...

I think you need to learn how to get NX from MTS.
Korea Nexon most likely makes less money than Nexon America. It's a freaking business for Christ's sake.

NX is tradable in kMS, so crap like this isn't as bad....
When NA copies it though... <_<''

This is unprecedented so I have no reason to take back anything I said.

However, it is a pretty awful move that will cause a lot of resentment. Making a new basic job that's better than all of the old basic jobs in every way and making people pay to use it is a shitty thing to do.

It's called KMST.

I noticed it earlier too, but then I saw that everything was free and put two and two together.

?? The fact that they're in the cash shop at all? I don't get where you believe that they wouldn't cost anything. Everything in the KMST cash shop is FREE because it's a test server. It will be priced.

Not necessarily "nothing" but a small "something" at that. Take a look at some of the quests that involve you buying things from the cash shop. Is there not a chance that these are the same as those? Though, they could be somewhat more expensive, but still be worth mesos and not NX.

This is only telling half of the story. The real mastery guides are also available within the game. If you want to get skills at a 100% rate you have to buy them from the cash shop. Otherwise, take your luck with regular guides.

If anything, this will DECREASE the price of mastery guides. Since they only sell for a couple bucks from the cash shop, merchants will price them according to the current $/mesos exchange rate. I see this as a good thing, not as a bad thing.

Well, that's a relief. Still kind of shady and worrying as to where the future of maple will lead though.

Well that's good news. Hopefully they include other classes too. Some skill book prices are way too far out of reach for the average mapler.

Might be good news now, but it opens a lot of doors that aught not be opened. :/ They're inching closer and closer to NX only classes.

Thank you. I saw the mastery guides added in your extraction and knew that this wasn't the only way to up your skills. I'm not sure why everyone thought that. They were quick to eye the new CS scrolls without seeing the new mastery books added. Those sure as hell aren't going to be used for our current classes...

I don't get why people would've thought that mastery books were cash only -_- I mean it's quite obvious they're going to have regular in-game mastery books as well.
