E4 and gym dont compete. Its one or the other.

No gm/e4 members can't participate, that's the downside. The upside is you get to crush peoples dreams!

Rather battle 100% of the time than spend 3/4 of my time training Pokemon to battle. Hell, I spend 1/2 of my time figuring out which team and EVs I need to get .

Fairly sure he will. It's basically a guareented ko on a pokemon of your choice if your opponent isn't using a ghost type at the time you send Wobuffet out. And there is still the good chance you could destiny bond a second pokemon after that, which is why he was put in ubers in the first place.

And if your opponent does have a ghost type out, you just wouldn't send a wobuffet out in the first place, so it's not that much of a counter.

Pewsks raises a good point about speed boost blaziken too.

Aww, I wanted to take my mono psychic team to be a gym leader/E4... Oh well. Time to plan two extra mons then (since I can't use Mega Medicham for the gym matches).

EDIT: Because this tournament takes place ingame, make sure your EV spreads are right if you're working with Pokémon of which you know the IVs. Sometimes a certain amount of EVs at Lv100 isn't enough to get that extra point of HP on Lv50.
