Shoulder Pads DO NOT Expire
#21
Takebacker Wrote:No.

110s give 8 to a stat and 4 att, 120s give 9 to a stat and 5 att, and the 130 gives 10 to a stat and 6 att.

The 100 recipes (7 to a stat and 4 attack) can be obtained through an NPC for paltry amounts of mesos and the hardest thing to get to forge it is hours spent doing PvP. Hours that will be more fun and take up less overall time than CvP will.

On that note, pvp supposedly yields amazing xp.

I thought the pvp exp sucked until they buffed it a patch or two after Ice Knight was released, when they actually buffed the Ice Knight D:

Regardless, it won't stop me from PvPing on Maple for the fun of it!

Yeah, i'll definitely pvp. Does atk range play into pvp damage or no? If not, that'd be stupid.

I have to believe it doesn't and damage is rather fixed. I can't see how having damage fixed is a "stupid" thing, unless you want Teddy "One skill shotting" you lol
If damage was scaled based on attack range, then defense and magic defense can't be fixed either Tongue

Stats affect your damage i think, but potential is ignored. The 180+ PvP includes potential, though. I doubt 180+ is meant for point farming though. Just a place for the elites to see how strong they actually are vs each other.

PvP is probably the only thing i'm going to do besides our guilds training parties. I'm expecting like, one of those 7 bundles per day.

It's nice to know that they don't expire, but the other shoulderpads will be much more fun to get... and better. PvP has also been the reason I've been holding out on getting a belt, I'm pretty sure there's a really good one you can get from trading in the coins.

Same here. It's the main reason why I haven't even bothered trying to PCube my Witch Belt to 3line, because the new belts from Chaos / PvP instantly beat it, no problem.
