I want a rollback for NX compensation! You know I'm not the only one wanting this...

All i'm expecting is a massive hellban. That and me not being affected by this at all because only idiots would carry blatantly hacked scrolls.

Lol i've only used 2 chaoses in the past year and they were both before this event even existed. If i were you i would have jumped ship a while ago.

I foresaw this and screwed around with a few chaos I had bought for dirt. Scrolled a random shield I had and turned out terrible. Nothing lost; nothing gained.
Let us see what will happen now. Just been playing Minecraft and other assorted goodness today.

um.. wouldn't the scrolls both have different ID numbers, for two Different events?

Since most of my money are earned from monsters and selling some drops and EQs, this won't kill me, although I'd be terribly annoyed if I got RB-ed back to level 120.

just to write for the sake of writing, yes, it's selfish to not want something because it doesn't benefit you, however, it's not wrong because, heck, who in their right mind likes being un-benefitted (i don't even know if that's a word, lol) you are not the one that has to decide if he should press the big red "rollback" button or not.

now, however, let's say that you ARE the one that has to press the button, the world NEEDS a rollback, it's the best way out, but you decide not to do it because it doesn't benefit you, then you are a selfish ass, the bad kind of selfishness.

i myself, kinda want a rollback, back to before the thing even started, so that my hard-earned coins are worth what they were supposed to be, on the other hand, the amount of chaos scroll is huge enough to warrant some SERIOUS fun scrolling stuff, is it selfish of me to want any of these two specific scenarios to happen? yes it is. is it wrong? nah, it's basically wishful thinking.

In case of the MS community many ppl will be angry because they loose EXP or goodly scrolled items or we and many ppl will be happy because
they are victims of nexons faults and lost a lot of money during the exploit.

uhh, i am not discussing anything, all i am saying is that wanting what you want, even though it's selfish, isn't, however that when it's one that has to make the choice, and chooses oneself over the masses, thet's when selfishness is wrong, BY MY STANDARDS.

Let me translate that announcement:

We have no idea how to fix this mess.
We left the game servers up until we could think of something, since downtime = lost revenue. We thought whatever fix we come up with will fix the game economy, no matter when it is applied and how much the hackers managed to ruin it before. But it finally dawned on us that legitimate players are also still playing, and if we end up having to roll back their accomplishments, they will get angry.

So, now the game servers are down until further notice. We're brainstorming. Or will be as soon as enough of us wake up, including Koreans. Once we think up a solution, we might have something of a time estimate on when it can be implemented. Hey, if Sony can take its network down for endless days, so can we, right?

Personally, I don't want a rollback, because I know whatever 2x compensation they give will never come close to making up for the training I've put in these past few days.

But, when Nexon try to surgically excise just the tainted meso and items from the game... it usually results in heavy casualties among the innocents, and the hackers laughing all the way to the (real life) bank.

If they really want to avoid a rollback, I think the following should be enough:

• Ban any character created this past week which has more than 100m meso. Let any legits who created a new character and funded it, log tickets.
  
• Delete any stacks of more than 200 chaos or pink scrolls. Ban any account with more than 2k of them on it.
  

Yes, the smarter hackers who converted their meso to items and stashed them in MTS, or who sold their meso to meso-selling sites for real-world money, will emerge unscathed. Such is life. But at least much of the excess meso, and nearly all of the excess items, will disappear from the market, and give us back some semblance of normalcy. Until the next exploit.

Why are you seemingly so angry? While Nexon lacks customer service skills there isn't really any proof that they weren't trying to find out how to fix it while keeping the game up. And the time Hime posted about it means nothing.

I used some of the Chaos scrolls from this event...I really hope I don't get banned/hellbanned/anything of the sort. -_-

Yeah I used two chaos scrolls that I earned about 5 days ago. If I get banned in anyway I'm going to be so f'ucking pissed because I've worked really hard on getting my retired DW up level 9X already.

I want a rollback for NX compensation! You know I'm not the only one wanting this...

They don't do that anymore.
They didn't like our "abusing" it.

I just hope if they do roll back I will get back my ~50k nx spent trying to turn my Executioner's into a bossing sword. Damn thing wouldn't even go Unique. (Was already Epic when I started this cubing session).

**Update** We will NOT be performing a rollback to address this issue. The affect on the meso economy has been very minimal and we are working on addressing the large increase in scrolls and equipment items through other methods. We will release details soon. Thank you for your patience.
