The only ones who deserve resets are dual blades and arans. Who else should get a reset...?

How am I being selfish? People keep saying that. What's selfish? I don't care if we all get free resets that last forever. What do I stand to lose or gain by resets? I'm just recognizing that not every class was changed enough to warrant a reset. Increasing the damage of blast doesn't mean paladins should get a reset...

I'll tell ya what I think ya should be doing:
If ya wanna be like "Oh my god he's too pro" kinda stuff, and yer funded like hell, make a DB.
Stock up on any crystals and ores you can get cheap.
MAYBE (like I did) horde potential scrolls, (But that's really for protect shields which come after chaos I believe)
And uh...
Perhaps...
try to find good non-potential'd equips, because if I understand Spawdow's (very good) "engrish", then I believe that if you are under lvl 120, then when you PvP they automatically take away your potentials stats from yer weapons when you PvP, (I paraphrased him but their are certain "tiers" of PvP.)
Other than that...
I got nothin, cept to say you need to decide what skill you want to use, i.e. Alchemy/blacksmithing etc... And start planning accordingly.

Doesn't matter if it warrants a reset in your opinion. Just because one class gets a ton of balance and deserves a balance doesn't change the fact that skills were changed on classes and needs resets for the new builds that may change for others.in the update, plus the fact that PvP messed around with skills in the PvP which may make people adjust toward it. PvP alone warrants a reset.

So if the only archer changes are new animations and 5% - 10% increases in power of existing skills, that still warrants a reset?
That's not fair, that's ludicrous. What do you need to reset? How would 10% more in a skill we all already maxed anyway change anything whatsoever in terms of skill builds?
You're all just whining for the sake of whining at this point.

Post above.
PvP = Different Skill sets on that mode. So it warrants a Sp reset for everyone
Even if it just a patetic attempt to revive the game in which no skill whatsoever is involved.
And learn to read too.

Um, no. I think his point was that when one or two classes get changed enough to warrent a reset, then EVERY class will have to get them to be fair to everyone. People will just get pissed off if they don't give out free resets in that situation.
Also, that last line wasn't necessary and will only get people to respond in a much less... docile manner. You'll get yourself flamed like that.

Any skill change can affect player skill build decisions. Honestly SP resets shouldn't even be that big of a deal. Full SP Resets should be available for a small sum of mesos depending on how many SPs were reset, and also in the form of an NX item (say, $5). They should also be distributed with every major balance patch. Does anyone even buy the current SP resets? Why would anyone ever reset one SP? More SP resets would encourage build experimentation, which is fun (or would be if Nexon let you shift more than like 9 SP around).

I think you're just arguing for the sake of arguing.
As far as things are concerned with SP resets, all classes got an SP reset during an event in Chaos KMS. Though whether or not such an event will occur in GMS, chances are likely it will occur. Note that wasn't the only SP reset they got either. Furthermore, Nexon America has clearly stated multiple times that hot times (which include SP resets) will occur periodically through each major update. Hot times in GMS occurred in BigBang multiple times, and during those times, they did not warrant the need for an SP reset due to no skills getting changed ever since the initial BigBang skill balancing. This rends your point moot about SP resets given to classes that actually need it.

Look up the recipies for the level 130 rings and get enough ingredients for around.. 3-4. When you finally find the recipie guide you need in game to make the ring. Maybe collect enough for 6-8 cause if you're a perfectionist you're gonna need a few retries getting 3 lined rings.

Selfish = It doesn't affect me, so I say other people shouldn't get it either.
When they add skills, those classes obviously need a reset (Hero/Dark Knight got skills, not sure if they still have them). When they make significant changes (like current nerfing of avoid/ss/ds, or the new magic formula making Medi useful) to the mechanics of skills, a reset would be nice as well. Even when they change the stats of skills, it can affect the build for people who are in the process of maxing skills - Rush, for example, used to be worth maxing but a change in the way it gains speed makes it not worth adding points to.

And those Hot time events were BS, what if you couldn't get on during them?
What they need to do is have every char be able to go talk to a NPC (I would say 3 times) to get a free full SP reset.
This is because not everyone like using skill build and this would allow people to try 2 different ones and settle on a 3rd.
That NPC should be there indefinitely and hand them out indefinitely, but only x number of times.
and that x should be reset after each rebalance.
I know people that came back to maple 1 month ago and got screwed by no SP resets (They last played in 2009)

The only thing I'm doing to prepare for Chaos is grabbing some items to make potions. Namely to make rare transformations like Crimson Balrog.
Useless sure but they're fun to mess around with.

I recently realized that I need 200 lidium ores for the dark angelic ring...so I guess I will be farming those.
Are they dropping at the moment or am I screwed?

No luck there, regular ore and powder no longer drop. Crystal ore still drop but that does not help huh.
