Anyone doing anything special in preparation for the Chaos patch?
I'm contemplating making a dual blade, but scrolling two weapons would probably a cost a lot. Not to mention the scrolls...
I guess if you're not an aran or dual blade, then nothing big is happening for you.

Also the profession system and PvP is "Something big" for everyone.
Regardless, I have my ore mule stocked up on random ores to help with jewelcrafting and whatnot...

Why is it selfish? I have neither an aran nor a dual blade, and I feel that very little is going to happen in the chaos patch.
I see the profession system as a new take on quests. You complete a series of tasks and receive a reward, i.e., a quest. The only difference is that you know exactly what you're getting and you can modify it to a degree beforehand, although with proper research that holds true for the traditional definition of quests.
PvP is basically the same thing: whack a few people, get some coins, turn it in for equips, then go back to hunting/grinding. It's not real PvP since no skill is involved. DFO has real PvP - I often lose despite playing a class that's seen as "OP."

Perhaps "preparation" is the wrong word. Feel free to substitute the title for "What are you anxious for about the chaos patch?"

Not doing any prepping. I'm pretty good anyways. I could level up a bit more, but that's about it. I'm calling another evolving ring event at Chaos patch though!

Maybe the fact that we can get some non cash shop accesories (Rings, Shoulder, Face, etc).
Other than that is the same old maple we all love and hate.

Seems like a small number update to be honest. Mages are probably getting more and that's just a face lift.

I hardly remember what was changed for mages in Chaos, but it's all been buffs in all these patches so I'm happy.
Do we get an SP reset with this?

Neither Nexon's half-assed attempt at a profession system nor PvP are interesting at all; it's really just a minor balance patch.

Face accesories with Chaos? I remember seeing rings and shoulders, but not face ones; care to refresh my memory?

I could honestly care less about this patch.
The profession system means nothing to me since I've already got all my gear, I just need to cube a bit more.
Skill updates are welcome, but there's nothing really improving than a little more damage to Paralyze, whoo hoo.

@Shidoshi Lets face it, Nexon tried to screw us last time with not giveing SP resets, if they don't then the entire force of 5,000,000 12 year old kid's anger will be directed at Nexon, again.
and they will be forced to give them out as a "surprise" f3
