"Ks'ing" is not kill STEALING... It's kill "Sharing".

That's not what his argument is.

It's what his argument is about to be because his own argument doesn't stand on its own and having someone point out a better argument will allow him to hop along.

Even if what cronnoponno said was his argument it still doesn't work because Nexon does count map invasion as a form of KSing, plain and simple. I've seen people banned for it. If you ask someone to CC and they refuse and continue killing, you have a right to report them and Nexon will (eventually) deal with it.

But I'm not defending him, people like him have ruined many of my hours in Maple before BB(and a little after).

As this is an MMORPG, its much more ideal to help each other out.

Why do we have manners in RL? Why do we NOT cut each other in the grocery line?

When was the last time you witnessed someone at a gym try to take a machine someone was using because 'having stuff taken is a dynamic of life', and NOT get kicked out later?

Messing with someone's plans or actions is every bit as unwanted in real life as it is while they're TRYING to have fun. We expect some form of order and behavior in society, which is way more complex than a simple game: not impeding someone else's xp rate for your own sake is far from asking too much.

Yet back in the day killing someone else's deer was punishable by death. Reading a book written through research into the ways of people in times such as 5000 B.C. or so, they had clans. Clans had territory. Killing certain animals on another clan's territory spelled death. Clans could mark creatures they meant to kill/do something with and if you tampered with it and were caught, insta-death or a simple fight to see who gets it.

How about we look at it like this: There are 2 soccer balls on a field (not a game, just a field). You are practicing shots with one, some person walks over and takes the ball you were using because it was more convenient for them (ks'ers sometimes don't want to cc because it would take them time to do so). Now, there is a second ball on the field that they could have taken instead and not annoyed you by taking, but did they take it? No. Yours was more convenient. I can be on a map that isn't even mainstream (for Kradia), such as Drakes, and be ks'ed by a player who won't simply cc to find an open map.

What I've read, his argument from the very start was "I have power over weak people, I make the rules over weak people, so I will bully them any way I see fit."

It's like you see a little kid on a soccer field at a public park kicking a ball around. You came because you wanted to play there and somehow feel entitled to be able to so you start kicking the kid's ball around, making life difficult for him. He asks you to leave him alone so instead you say "hey you don't own this field!" and start running circles around him with his ball, like the prick you are.

A good suggestion would be to go into Runescape, and join a PK world. See how quickly a random jerk anally rapes you to get all of your gear.

If you want to PvP, there are plenty of MMORPGs that have it programmed into them.
Maple does not.
Maple's TOS specifically states you're not to KS.
Maple wants you to interact with people in a friendly way, to help them, not to bully them. Yeah, it's a kiddie game, deal with it.
Don't tell those of us who don't like KS'ing to go play a solo game. You who like to fight against other players should go to a game that provides that functionality and encourages it.

i.e. - Just cuz you got to the free map on the free MMORPG first, does not mean you have the right to tell anyone other than yourself, to do anything, other than "Dont Rape me, Don't Steal From me, Don't pineapple my wife, and don't kill me".

Just like in real life, if I got to a public park bench before you, you have no right to push me off it. You can ask to share it, but you can't say "It's not yours, it's the city's, and since the city didn't make it impossible for me to push you off, I will push you, 'cause I want to sit down too and all the benches are taken. Or not. Maybe I just feel like punching an old lady today, and you look like you fit the bill, and I don't see any cops here."
If I sat down on the bench first, it's mine. Until I get up (of my own free will), at which point it becomes free-for-all again.

1. So you're saying that an entire player base of any RPG will disappear/become extremely small because there's no KSing? Yeah, you should really play some more RPGs....
2. KSing IS illegal; read the ToS. The only reason it isn't enforced is because of a lack of GM activity, but since a lack of GM activity leads to weak enforcement of every rule, you can't say "oh KSing=bannable isn't enforced", because that would imply that they specifically don't enforce that rule.

Since you're going with the whole 'Meta game' arguement, i might as well say this then.

Being hated by a large portion of the community and possibly banned for KSing is part of the player AND publisher-made metagame as well. If you don't like that, why not play offline games?

I really, really have no idea where you're going with the argument of how a built-in computer player being competition in a game designed for scoring high points relates to harassing little kids in a free-to-play online game. Please elaborate. I would like to know more.
