I found the first area boss! THANK GOD for Nexon Japan actually thinking for once! The area bosses are instanced! DDDD

After you accept the quest to kill the boss, you go to the end of Perion where those Skelegon Commanders are and there's this NPC :



Then you see this girl (Probably different NPCs in different areas) :




Then you hop down and rape this assface :




I assume card drops are a 100% rate, but I've only killed him once, so I may be wrong.



The game is going down now, though, for an obvious quickfix maintenance.

It's about time Monster Book has a reward system with it. :3 I'm glad Nexon Japan decided to keep the Monster Book now.

Yeah i decided i basically want this more than any patch coming up from kms (aside from what the newest skill revamps could possibly have in store). I miss dat monster book. Was the only thing that kept me caring about one of my characters at all tbh.

It was probably mostly done. Also i don't think their office is even in an area much affected by any of what is going on.

It is still really unexpected to me, however.

This is actually a really hot concept to monster cards. I approve, I'd really like this now

I REALLY want to mess with this more. This is just a theory, but I think selecting different completed (key word) card sets grants you higher stats on your monster book equip item (which you can't unequip, by the way. It's like a permanent addition to your stats). I didn't get to try that out when the game was up, but I think I only have one completed set anyway, so I think I need to go monster book hunting before I can really test that theory.

Yea, I loved collecting cards, but could accept the removal since it did almost nothing to actual gameplay. Then I see JMS actually working to evolve it and make it more fun. Jealous indeed.

Amazing patch, please let's organize some petition to nexon about adding this stuff to gms. I love this patch more the chaos(sorry).

EDIT: Question ShiKage does JMS have all cards? like Masteria, or any other world tour, I know about Mushroom Shrine etc.

We never had Masteria cards, but for all of the others, I believe so. I'll need to wait for the game to come back online before I can confirm that, though.


I know we had Taiwan cards and both China world tour mob cards, but I'm not sure about Thailand. I THINK we have those, though.

They may have been removed with this newest update, though.

I've just notice that new are boss drop card in KMS'style i mean without extra line around mob like JMS did with their cards, that great sign

Yeah, all of the world tour cards were kept. The only monsters that don't have cards (as far as I can recall) are Masteria mobs.


Also, as I suspected :




Card sets give extra stat bonuses to your monster book equipment. ^^

Nah. There are different bonuses for each different set. Some give + stats, some give +% stats, some give +attack, etc.


They can, Xakris. There is no level limit on Kerning Square or Mushroom Castle anymore.

Wow, something you have to actually work for instead of buying NX to get it (well, other than 2x cards) and it adds useful bonuses.

There are even bonuses like ignore 15% of the target's defense, +1 point to all skills and stuff.
