Anyway. Looks like they're trying to fit in with the new trend of gadgets with mp3's and crappy cameras and whatnot. Game systems are for gaming, mp3s are for players, pictures are for cameras, and while we're at it, phones are for talking to people. But people don't think so, so this kind of stuff sells.

Oh and Punch out looks rad. Sin and punishment 2 looks cool. They are making plenty of games. the new Wario Ware looks nice and Nintendo is working on a new Zelda and Mario game atm If you need source I'll post it.

lol yeah i have my original still from when it first came out =P I'm satisfied that it still works xD (except for that annoying high pitched ringing sound that it does while it's playing =P)

I would have bought this one too, if it had backwards compatibility as well. It looks nice and it's lighter than the original, but if they incorporate the GBA somehow, it would make this more attractive...

The DS sold so much without all the fancy gadgets, while the PSP didn't go far, (at least, around here it didn't) even with all the tech. How does Nintendo think this will help them?

Good thing I waited and used my sister's DS (lol) since mine broke down (a hinge fell off for a long time until my top screen started going crazy). I'm gonna get this as soon as it come out! ...or maybe when I get enough money if I don't have it by the time lol.

I'm going to bump this old topic here since its almost out and also say to you LozMaster. There has been rumors from diffrence sources at a recent nintendo event all the employees told everyone that THEY will have gameboy/GBA games on for download.

If anyone here reads gonintendo it seems to be true, but nintendo is keeping there mouths shut like normal =P

The .3 Megapixel thing is because that's 1.5 times the resolution of the DS screens. You can make some decent Polaroid sized pictures I guess.

The thing that's the biggest blow to me is the lack of MP3 support. It only plays AACs, which means I've got some converting to do before I pick mine up next Sunday. xP Has anyone heard the max sized SD card the thing can use? (Or does anyone want to tell me what the smallest sized HDSD is since it has support for them..)

Hey, this reminds me, I need to get another original DS off eBay since my screen broke.

I'm not wasting my money on this.
-I have a MP3 player

-I have a cell phone

DSi loses 5-6 hours of battery life compared to DS Lite. No pineappleing thanks.

Edit: For $75, it might be more worth it just to buy a new DS off ebay alltogether. But maybe I'll do this when I have money.

As of right now, I don't have money to get one at $170. Although, I do plan on picking one up in the near future when I have the money too for one reason, hacking it. I've had an R4 for awhile and basically been able to get whatever game I want and some games (like Pokemon Platinum) early. Adding an SD slot to the whole mix I'm sure will prove to make hacking it easy and probably a week or two after it's out we'll see some really cool things to do with it. So, I'll wait a month, see where everything goes and then base buying one on that.
