Resistance Ring.

I've done all the resistance/edelstein quests up to lv 70 and hit lv 70 at around 11:00 pm pst. Made my advancement at about 9:00am pst though. No ring.

I did every level 70 and under quest, no ring. Currently about to do every Edelstein quest.

The thing that worries me the most within that GameFAQs thread is that it's looking like you have to complete all Level 70 and below Edelstein quests by the time you reach Level 70. Any higher and it seems you blow your chance at getting the ring.

I'm still Level 70. I'm going to test this out tomorrow.

EDIT: Okay, seems it's another factor preventing most people from getting their rings. Maybe it's server/job based?

Nexon didn't mention anything about quest completion in order to obtain the ring.

It's probably just going to be awarded after the next patch.

Yeah, did all the Lv70- quests, too, no Ring. Hopefully they know about this.

in kms, i didnt do any quests on my mech and still got the ring at lvl 70, nexon just loves to scam us

The quests fixing the ring theory is FAKE, so please if there is anything that the people with ring do post it

I have no ss but a buddy on my list has a ring He said a lightbulb appeared above his head, and he talked to the tophat man, but I got no lightbulb or quest from talking to him.

The event lasts until February 28 (I'd assume to give Mechanics an opportunity to earn the ring as well). Although I don't know how the BaM above obtained the ring, it could be that the quest wasn't enabled (and will be enabled when Mechs are added). Either way, there's still plenty of time to fix the issue.

to those who have reached at least level 70, was there already a light bulb above your character when you did? i propose that if there is, you will not receive the quests.

For the lightbulb it should have flash as soon as you got to 70 right? but it was cassandra instead. I didn't accept all those lightbulb quest just left them, maybe that prevented the quest from coming?
