Random thought: Some monsters use buffs, others use status effects. When they use buffs, do they buff you? When they use status effects, does it affect the monsters?

Well, I got a drake to take hits for me from Tauromacis in the shrine at the bottom of the ant tunnel, but it seams that they only act like a mobile version of puppet if the monster is using a non-mob skill or a non-projectile skill. I didn't expect much from the skill since it was given at level 10, but I'd like the summoned monster to at least show some damage. If anyone has a monster strong enough, could they go to lupins or some other low level monster that has a special attack and see if the summoned monster does damage or not?

Incidentally, I'm at Omega Sector now. Tomorrow morning, I'll try to catch a Zeta Gray or something with an easy to track magic attack, and unleash it on a Chief Gray or another mob with a wide-ranged magic attack.

I don't even think any of the mobs are programed to have their skills appear when they're agro'd by other mobs.
Remember the alien event and you had alied npc's with you? They never did any damage either, and it makes me wonder if Nexon really even has any allied status for mobs in the game yet. |
