Call of the Hunter's uses
#1
Does this skill have any uses at all? From what I can tell, all it does is distract people, but it does nothing at all that benefits training. Are the monsters supposed to act like a mobile puppet, or do the ones with magic attacks actually help out, or is the skill just a gimmick for messing with new players in henesys?

For those of you who don't know, "Call of the Hunter" is a beginner skill that is given to Wild Hunters that lets them summon one of 5 monsters that they've caught using another skill given to them called "Capture".

I don't know, but I feel like ash ketchum. I'm like MOBOMON, GOTTA CATCH EM ALL. Pretty cool walking around with every single drake. =3
Pretty sure it did nothing. Tried letting it pick drops, nothing. Doesn't attack or anything. Maybe some extractions on it would help? iunno.

The skill is just one of those "Look what I got" things. That and it scares the lowbies.

I wonder if there's a way to remove some of the monsters you've captured.

If you look closely, this WH summons two Werewolves. Both times they go into their attack animation and appear to be taking damage.
Whether they were actually attacking and doing damage, or just being moving targets, I can't tell.

Ok, that looks like what the skill description says the skill does. I found it odd that the skill said the monster would help even though they don't do anything but walk around. Thanks for posting the video, Outland! Biggrin

korean done that, and nexon already fixed it.

@Xiger : people can attack them. captured mob will die after a few second, but for Jr Yeti, when they die, they will transform into a Yeti, a wild one, and can be kill.

It also acts like a mini-Puppet; I summoned a Stone Golem in CPQ and it caught the attention of the Rombots on our side. I noticed that it would only take damage from monster skills though, not touch damage.

does it damage other mobs when touch or does it only damage other mobs with skills ? in the WH vid above it appears that the wolf is clawing the reindeer.

It doesn't with touch, so I assume it only works with skills.

That'd be a nice and mean way of getting FM spots.

Well I'm glad the summoned monsters do something other than walk around at random until their time runs out. Biggrin
