1 year anniversary since Michael Jackson passed away

I still hear his good songs constantly on 80's days at work. I am glad he gave us them. However, in my lifetime he never did anything but creep me out. I didn't care when he died.

Someitmes the most brilliant/gifted people also happen to be the most eccentric/insane.

My uncle died the same day, so I didn't really give a shit about a celebrity.

When I heard it I just saw the news, and went back to playing.
But its still kind of hard to believe that Michael Jackson is just..gone. o_O

I heard he was hospitalized before I heard he died, and I was at a town band concert with my friend and her dogs when someone texted me that he died and I didn't believe it at first.

It really sucks because a few months prior I had really started getting into his music. I never cared for it much before that, but now I think it's all amazing, and I think about how the world would be completely different without his contributions. I didn't realize how much he affected the world until he died, and it seems to have been like that for a lot of other people(Besides you unsympathetic jerks ).
