Starting afresh.

I'm willing to make a new character in a new world. Totally fresh. Ideally, the new world would be the place with the most SPers. Maple 2.0's success is still dependent on whether or not I can find enough people I used to know in Broa, know from SP, or new people who amuse me to keep me interested in the game.

I would make a new character, but probably not go too far with it before returning to my corsair. That is unless they don't give free SP Resets to current characters, at which point I'd probably say good bye to all my old characters. But there's no way they wouldn't give skill resets, so I'm not too worried about it.

I'm a little sad that everything is changing and I won't be able to create a new character to nostalgia all over.

I'm already planning on making a defense heavy Page, preferably in a server with many of you guys.

I was gonna make a topic like this, but I think it's too early. We still need these changes to get approved.

More than likely I will make a new character, in a new world and everything. Completely unfunded.
I'm unsure what class to make though, I've just made a little gunner on a new account. They seem like lots of fun, and hella fast.

I've pretty much made every class except the warriors. I just can't take how slowly they move ;x
What do you guys is the hierarchy of the new balanced classes? I expect that I/L Arch Mages be at if not near the bottom.

Someone should make a pyramid.

I have yet to see any screen shots or videos of I/Ls or any idea what the magic formula is, so I'm not making any sort of judgement.

As for making a new character, no thanks. I already have two accounts with 11 characters total, each of which is at least 2x. If I do mushroom castle for anything more than my aran and my assassin I'll probably kill myself.

And they have to give SP resets. A lot of skills had their max level reduced by 10. It doesn't work if they don't reset everybody's SP.

Nothing new to us, there.

@topic question
I've already done this in kMST. It's pretty easy, really. I guess I get more meso and pot drops than most people would, but I got soo many free pots from the quests I've done (I've actually thrown away a couple hundred blue pots) that I don't think that's much of an issue. I was actually able to go from 1 to 32 on 1x in just a few hours with only basic equipment. Leveling is easy now.

I don't play the game enough to make a new 100+. Also, by the time this is out I'll be in college so that'll kill my time ever more. I'll probably just end up keeping my old characters and just figuring out a way to deal with it, I better get some resets.

As of right now I'd say yes, I'd probably make another character if full SP resets are not given to my current characters, just to see how much gameplay has changed.

When this patch is released far in the future though, I have no idea what my opinion of Maple will be then.
