I've never had any ex's, so no I do not keep anything my ex's have given me. (I am with someone just to note.)

I move on.

If my former gf gave me things in the past, and they don't have any practical value, they're most likely discarded. Pictures of us is memories that will be left in a book filled with pictures: They have, however, no feelings attached to them.

@ Ken ~ I looooooooooooooove that song ^_^

No. I don't keep anything. I don't want to remember any of them because well, they all suck. My ex gave me a ring and I mailed it back to him. I didn't care to look at it or want it near me.

My ex gave me a little keychain-dangly of Sasuke (from Naruto) about 3 years ago. Its leg broke off, but I never got around to taking it off my keychain. I'm sure I would have if I really wanted to.

Oh, and she gave me a season of Family Guy too. I'm not going to throw it out, it's a good season!

I'm a packrat. I keep everything.

But, if the person is one I still have positive feelings for, or positive memories of, the sentimental value of the items becomes much greater.

I suppose if I ever parted with someone on extremely negative terms, with lots of anger and hatred, I just might shove their gifts out of sight in deep deep storage. Can't see myself throwing out or destroying anything, though. That's just so not me.

I don't really keep any of the stuff from my exes. My first gf gave me a DVD of Hitch way back in '05 because it was the first movie we watched before we started dating. I never opened it and gave it as a Christmas gift to my 2nd ex a year and a half later. Call me an pimento but I was more happy to get rid of it.

I kept a bottle of perfume, 2 small teddy bears (one of them is one from a pair). The perfume is not avaliable here in Australia, and I happened to adore the scent. The little teddies sit on my shelf amoung my crowd of teddies.
One of my ex-s didn't give me anything, that should have been a pretty good indication of the plantain he was, and I didn't see it.
I still talks to them sometime (except the vile one), I am perfectly happy now though, so all is good ^^

Pretty sure he means his exes.
I haven't really had any girlfriends yet, but, if I did and I got something that was really special, I'd probably keep it, even if the relationship went down to hell.
Though if its something pretty crappy, I'd just throw it away.
I'd keep photos, as most of the time, it should be of a happier time.

. . .

This isn't the Funhouse, I guess I should make some type of comment to keep on topic.

Khoi, why would you think girls are more likely to throw things away than guys?
