The Problems with Bigfoot

Hehe. I'm sorry to hear that there are some people being that way.

I admit, yesterday night, after searching for 7 hours and only seeing 2 bigfeet, I KSed another person without second though. (The spawn rate was pretty frustrating.) However, I gave him decent compensation for that (considering the foot didn't drop, if it did, lol... I probably couldn't compensate for it. >.>)

You should hire a FP mage with mist or hermit with shadow web to kill it for you.

I helped two other people get their toes yesterday.

See, the thing about that is I've been trying to help several friends, guild, etc get the toe, but half the time a F/P walks in and steals the kill and drop if it's there >_>

To all of you telling me that it will be better cause higher levels can and will kill them to get toes.
Eventually you will all get your toes.
And be done with it.
ALSO- Phantom Forest is not a 120+ training area.
The outside of the Keep is- But the forest itself is obviously 3x-10x (big range)
And when you guys get all your Toes- Why kill Bigfoot?
Sure the exp is decent but his current drops are terrible
And on populated servers his EXP might make the cut(due to lack of options)
But here on Bellocan- We will be stuck with LOTS of Bigfoots preventing any one who can't take 9K damage then you can NEVER do your Leprechaun quest.
Cause those are some HIGH LEVELED monsters

And I bet, for more than half of you, that if you COULD ks people like we can with Big Foot, you would.

We've always been KSed, when mist doesn't come into play.

I've had FOUR I/Ls KS me and my parties when we were trying to kill Headless Horsemen.

It's people who KS, not specific classes.

Just because you were KSed, or you're having trouble finding BFs, or you're just plain JEALOUS, it doesn't mean you should go around blaming all of us.

Yes, I agree that is unfair.
And I'm sure they'll fix it.
But keep in mind that individual people take advantage of it, and KS people.

And this thread isn't for your problems with F/Ps.

Edit: I really wish they'd made the Toe a Quest item, or not untradeable. (So we could give them to those who need it, or not see it at all)
Every time I run into a BF and kill him, there's no one around to take the toe, I'd gladly let anyone have them.
So they go to waste.

That's just more justification. I CAN easily KS almost any class at almost any boss. Do I? No, never. Just today, in fact, I really needed Jack O' Lanterns for the quest. I passed up three Headless Horsemans I was very tempted to steal...and could have VERY EASILY. It takes me 1 min or less to take one down - even parties can't match that most of the time.

I know F/P mages definitely aren't the best bossers. But just because there's one new mistake on Nexon's half that makes Bigfoot easily owned by F/P's doesn't mean they should KS everyone else trying to do the quest.

I've yet to meet those nice F/P's that actually let me get the Toe. I don't care about the exp...I just want the quest done. :/ It's my last one left.

Haha, when I killed my first bigfoot I got the toe, but let someone else get it =/ I never knew they were that rare, and now I need it desperately XD.

Dude, the exp isn't decent. It's godly. I kill the thing with Shadow web, and get 8% a kill, after about 28 hits or so. Nexon finally added something worth value. Personally, If someone wants a toe I go kill it for them and they can have it. I have no need for anymore, I already have 6. Chompy, I don't know what you're on. But I'm in Bellocan and I can BARLEY find any to kill. Everyone is killing them. Including myself.

Simple solution to the big foot ks issue(as though someone would openly admit to it).

If your gonna ks someone for the kill, don't unless you have the toe already in your inventory.

By not having the drop in your inventory, you will not be able to pick up another one.
Same with Horseman, Pianus, Papulatus, and Gheist/Crimson Balrog drops.

You can get as many as you want. And you really only want 1 or 2.
The item is such a pain for me.

Hmm...gotta change that to take off your item pouch then, but still raises a few bits of information not well known.

Chat with other players though about going on bf hunts, there are more then a few that need these toes. Hell, even I need to find one the next time I manage to get on.

They really need a page to list suggestions to better balance these maps on nexons forums.

I'm not going back to CK until I level. I died multiple times there due to BF. 11k touch damage that is unavoidable because he is so fast is ridiculous.

I'm not really worried about it being fixed cause I know im replacing skeles with bigfoot's for sure. That thing is just faster exp than solo skele (beats my skele exp even on 2x). And 8 a chan is great training.

Well for traveling can't thieves just dark sight?

Bigfeet don't auto-aggro so traveling for Thieves isn't really an issue.

lol i know what u mean... my party and I were killing one to get toes.. some random f\p comes.. ks us all.. killed it in a matter of seconds .. loot the toe

Level 1 web hits him for 650k or so, and max did 1 mil+.

Simply setting him to actually be a "boss" would fix ALL issues.

I'm sure that whenever Nexon gets around to patching to resolve issues related to this patch, this will be their primary goal.

I see alot of people telling me that NL's can jsut darksight etc etc.
That is NOT the MAIN problem.
Yes it is a problem that higher levels will be forced to be extra cautious and do quests to avoid Bigfoot.
THE MAIN problem is- In less populated servers-when Bigfoot is fixed- no one will hunt him enough to make Phantom Forest quests accesible for many many Maplers.
Those Maplers include- anyone with less than what seems to be 11k HP
Which is ridiculous-
Sure some people might hunt a FEW- but there are 8 Bigfoots per chan.
