Girls : At what age did you get your first period?

I stopped getting it for whatever reason, and the doctors I went to can't figure it out. So I have to take birth control to get a period.

The reason for that is I was born with defective ovaries which had to be removed due to complications, so I have never had a period. I know people say they suck and all, but I'd take it all since it would likely mean I could have kids. Plus I feel like I am missing out on stuff. :x

Just for the sake of keeping on topic, I think I was 11. I freaked out, thought it was some kind of disease. XD Just a week later I found out what it was in school via natural science class.

If you mean my boobs, it's sensitive, yes, but nothing compared to what happens when a guy gets owned in the crotch.

Back when I did cheerleading, sometimes the person being thrown in the air doesn't land properly and ends up hitting my boobs or I'll trip and they land on ME with full body weight. Doesn't make me roll over whimpering in pain for over 5 mins or so though.

I used to see it alot on failed stunts with guys who don't catch properly or timed something wrong. So full body weight + crotch = ..well, yeah......

Anyway, if I remember correctly (some chick asked that in health class...4 years ago lol), the pain is in your lower stomach area because when you get kicked, your lower body herniates (moves upwards) out of reflex. Your testes are basically dangling because it needs to be cooler than body temperatures. Otherwise, it'll lower your sperm count dramatically. Unlike most of your body, your testes aren't protected by bone, so as defense, it's covered by tons and tons of nerves...which is why it hurt tons even if it wasn't such a hard blow. lol
