Starting My Sin

Nayuki Wrote:um...you have 2bil and you're going to get a thief boot?
you are more clueless than i thought.

Umm I could buy a 2/4 FS for 500m, and spend 1/4 of my funding on a shoe, or spend 75m on a 14 dex shoe, which is almost as good as the FS?

My NL has a base 50 dex, so I guess you can call him "low dex."

With fairly modest equipment I'll equip Timeless Claw, so I personally don't think dexless is such a good idea; I am paying 25 dex to wear a timeless, I can't imagine Skanda or bracer being that much better unless it's WAY better scrolled.

Please note that I am new to NL, this is just what makes sense to me.

DEXless (or near DEXless ; or low-dex, w/e) + High-levelled claw (Craven, Sleeve, Timeless/Reverse) > DEXless Skanda, period. Because of the amount of attacking you're gaining, you lose LUK, but you get more attack, way more attack..

So yes, you're doing it right.

I find it quite hilarious he's funding this NL with 3 billion when he'll never even use the gear for anything except sitting his ass on a rope.

This.

Anyone can buy leech. The smart players or the miserly ones just see it as an incredible waste of money.

I agree with Opeth. Leeching is one thing, but leeching every single level possible (or like 80%+ from 10-120 [or beyond]) is pointless. Only way to get good at playing a class (or some classes lol) is to know how to control the character so well that you'll know how to "short-hop" Flash Jump over an opponent, etc.

I should make a NL-control video whenever I'm not so lazy... Well, as long as he can control his character effectively so much that he can leap over a Bigfoot / whatever else-boss without getting touched / KO'ed will help.

"Oh you'll never be able to stand 10%/hour" - Stop being so ignorant I've levelled at 5%/hour.

"You won't know how to control your character" - Not like it's that hard, you seriously think you need to spend 100s of hours to learn to control your character? Get real.

Everyone leeches, get used to it. I don't want to see your PMS because you're jealous you can't afford leech. I asked for suggestions not flames.

Watch your words.

Want to do a ''FJ- throw/springt- game'' when you have max FJ. I bet I'll win. Oh wait-- you're already good enough, because you have to money to leech (there's no logic in this, just how you sounded to me).

I can afford leech, I'm not doing it. Random (newt) parties > sitting.

Or you could just accept that leeching every leechable level is very low.

During Hermithood (the non-leeching version) you learn a lot of skills. The most important; being able to train on monsters that 2-hit you or even 1-hit you. Maybe even learn how to deal with monsters that have a close range magic attack that 1-hits you.

The second important thing is learning how to [i]effectively[i] use Avenger. At points you are going to face mobs, and it has to become instinct for you to feel when to use Avenger and when to use L7 for highest time efficiency possible.

I could probably go on if I were a Hermit or Night Lord, but those are the bare basics of what you learn during your Hermit days. Especially the first one. Because you.will.die.a.lot. if you can't handle that kinda training.

The rest of this post is just ridiculous and I'm not going in on that.
