Starting My Sin
#1
I'm working on a sin that I'm planning on getting to night lord.

I'm wondering which build is most beneficial; dexless or low dex.

I have about 2-3b in funding for equips, but I'm making more everyday.

Please give reasons to support your suggestion!

don't make a night lord.

If you start dexless, you'll be stronger... permanetly

seriously there's no reason to be low-dex right now.

And the beauty of it is, even if they somehow tip the balance in favour of low-dex (cheap Timeless claws from gold boxes would be one way) you can just add points to dex and you're set.

Start dexless, don't really buy too much crap, convert to low-dex and buy all your endgame gear once you're level 100 or so.

Well so I far I've just bought stars and my wg. I plan on leeching 65-130 so I'll get a good china set, a thief boot, pac and a claw later.

What's a good end-game claw?

Anything with high atk that you can equip. If you're dexless, it would probably be a skanda or night raven claw.

Isn't that cause most maplers now like to leech their way past the low lvls, just so they can use 4th job skills?

And they quit when they realized they can't train worth a shyt at 4th job, where all the cool skills are.

CONGRATS YOU GOT TO 4TH JOB BUT NOW YOU MUST ACTUALLY GRIND NOW BECAUSE LEECHING ACTUALLY BECOMES SLOWER AND YOU WILL HATE YOUR <10% AN HOUR LOL.

Here is the thing though, I'm not condoning leech, but the reason they do it til that lvl is usually just for the skills, but in some rare rather idiotic cases, they leech to 15x and above, just to say they have the ranks. lol, putting that aside glad to see two others who share my vews on the leechers haha.

Even if they were leeching for the skills. They get to 4th job doing nothing but sitting their ass at BF and they just start b'itching about how slow training is, buying 2x, more leech, and laughing at characters that really grinded their way up to 4th.

90 to 100 is a good time.... nearly 30%/ hour for me at least in CWK.

Partying at newts is also fun ^^
So why skip it all?

Dexless, because it's easier and you get high damage with little effort. Getting the dexless Raven Claw isn't that hard to get either.
As for leeching, go for it.

Get the f'uck out with this crap. If you want to make a Night Lord, actually make a Night Lord. You're worried about your equipment and build, and yet when you get to a level where you'll finally be able to benefit from them you're not going to be able to control your character for s'hit.

They really are not difficult to control though. What's so difficult that you need to train 100+ levels worth in order to "get the hang" of your character, especially an NL, lol. And yes I leeched my own NL to get shiny 4th job skills. Smile They are so shiny!

Wow you people complaining about leech are f'ucking retarded.

"Oh you'll never be able to stand 10%/hour" - Stop being so ignorant I've levelled at 5%/hour.

"You won't know how to control your character" - Not like it's that hard, you seriously think you need to spend 100s of hours to learn to control your character? Get real.

Everyone leeches, get used to it. I don't want to see your PMS because you're jealous you can't afford leech. I asked for suggestions not flames.
