New Zelda Announced
#21
Hmmmm....
They should do a 3D Zelda in the Wind Waker plotline.

With Vaati(my favourite villain).
It'd be interesting.

I could never get into WW or TP. They felt so... dull.
It wasn't like OoT. Huge expansive (at the time) world map? pineapple yeah
Or MM. Day system? Transform into other forms? Even huger and more expansive map? sign me up broham
And then for WW... SAILAN! Sure I finished it but that just kinda turned me off from the whole experience.

Was reading Shaman King today, and when I got to the Iron Maiden part, it sorta reminded me of this.

As long as the damn bosses don't die in under 2 minutes and aren't as easy as the past games, I'll be happy.

I crave for epic boss fights, not the kill 'em in three hits TP kind.

Beat Twilight Princess practically in a day. I'll love this. Biggrin

I thought Twilight Princess and Wind Wanker were easy, but I didn't enjoy Twilight Princess very much (I really enjoyed the horseback boss battles). I enjoyed almost all of the Wind Waker. =o

Has anyone noticed the resemblence of the statue to the Goddess' from Wind Waker? And they kinda look like the shrine Fairy from Wind Waker too.

Whatever role this fairy-sword thing plays in this new Zelda, it better not be as bizarre and annoying as the wolf mechanic in TP.

Good, I've had enough of Hyrule.

A lot of the dungeons in TP reminded me of dungeons in Ocarina of Time.

As long as there isn't another Zelda as easy as Phantom Hourglass, I'm fine with it. I just beat LoZTongueH again with only 3 hearts in a matter of 3 days, with only 2 deaths because I didn't yell into my mic loud enough to make the giant mouse-things flinch.

Opeth Wrote:No. Wind Waker was the beginning of the "piss easy" Zeldas. They need to go back to being at least somewhat challenging. I don't like defeating a boss and only losing 2 hearts. Remember in OoT when an Iron Knuckle made you lose 4 hearts? Yeah, they need to do this again except make it standard on most enemies.

Gahh Iron Knuckles kick your ass in a 3 heart run.

Yeah, I dunno why the damage in TP is so fucking low. It's absolutely insane when a boss hits you for only 1/4 of a heart per attack. Hello, I have 15-20 hearts and several fairies and potions that I never use. Shoot me like a man.

Is there some hard mode I can unlock for that? I plan to play the game this summer, and I'll be sad if TP has bosses hitting like a girl.

Still doesn't help that the final area boss (that dragon) still manages to kick my ass by pushing me off the map. Frown

I want the next game to have more challenging puzzles and more challenging bosses as well.

Twilight Princess' puzzles were too easy.

No Cell Shading for the love of god. Keep it TP style, but then make the Shadow Temple/Arbiter Ground stage even more scary. Yes, even more of a mind f**k than the Shadow Temple was. Definately need to up the damage and difficulty. Stupid casual gaming ruining my favorite series.

ALSO THEY NEED A BOSS MODE!

I want it to take place some place other than Hyrule; I've had enough of it. lol

Hopefully a place with a lack of spiders. I hate spiders.

I'm afraid of spider but I don't mind Zelda ones. Allows me to crush them. Now Like Likes freak me the hell out and I don't want to see a single one.

I was so terrified of Like Likes for years after I got Ocarina of Time (I was 8 when it came out I think?). No seriously. I would not go anywhere NEAR them. It's so easy to just kill them with a sword, but I wouldn't do it. I would kill them with my bow. Always. Remember that one tiny room in the Bottom of the Well with the Like Like in it guarding a Golden Skulltula? I never went in that room until after 5 years (at least) of owning the game.

I also thought if they sucked you up you lose your tunic and shield they took permanently. I never wanted to risk something so terrible (lol?). Scary stuff, bro.
