No, it's not that Spirit Tracks on DS non sense. It's a brand new Wii game.
No trailer for it yet, but there's something odd about the fairy in this image.

No. Wind Waker was the beginning of the "piss easy" Zeldas. They need to go back to being at least somewhat challenging. I don't like defeating a boss and only losing 2 hearts. Remember in OoT when an Iron Knuckle made you lose 4 hearts? Yeah, they need to do this again except make it standard on most enemies.

i never said "piss easy zelda game on wii", just cell shaded
who said a cell shaded game needs to be piss easy? yes, the previous ones have been but who knows with nintendo.
i just prefer the graphical styles of cell shaded zelda.

In my opinion, it depends totally on the game. Wind Waker's graphics suited a LOT. I mean, the sea, if made realistic, would have looked boring. Also, the epic tale theme suits the doodled style.

Wind Waker was good and a lot of fun. No LoZ is hard unless you play with few hearts. I would never argue that WW is the best 3D one, though. I'd rank it last among them. I wouldn't want another cell-shaded one either.
Anyway, yeah. It's curious how similar she looks to the Master Sword. I think the comparison image was posted in another thread on this site. I wonder what he's gonna pull now. It better be awesome.

I'm just bitter because I always blame Wind Waker for the beginning of the yawn fests.
Zelda II was ridiculously hard but it loses points for not being a traditional Zelda.

Hopefully they'll make a better villain story this time, not like they did with Zant and Ganondorf in Twilight Princess.
I probably would have liked Twilight Princess more if it was just about Zant.
Seriously they need more main villains, not just "It was Ganon all along! What a shocking turn of events!"

Whoa now. Ganondorf is not only AWESOME, he's practically necessary. He's the best villain. I think they need to do MORE with him and give him better boss battles. They always have the epic feeling to them, but they should be harder/longer. And like make him show up multiple times throughout the story, trying to mess you up or whatnot. I don't care. I just want more of him. He has the Triforce of Power for goodness' sake. I don't think he's going away any time soon.
The problem with Twilight Princess was that they RUINED Zant. They set him up beautifully. He had that I'M EVIL AND HEARTLESS; WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT, F'AG? aura, but they went and revealed him as an LOL I'M WACKY LOOK AT ME DANCE XD guy. Biggest disappointment I've felt in ages. Zant could have been done so much better. Look at Majora's Mask. They used a different villain in that one, too, and it was GLORIOUS. Majora turned out to be awesome, unlike Zant.
They need to do more with Ganondorf and do it right. And then when they introduce new villains, they need to make sure not mess them up. Make them wicked, awesome, heartless, powerful, etc etc. Make them actually work alongside Ganondorf. Make them kill people and love it. Make the fights with the main villains give me goosebumps and sweat a little.

I quite enjoyed Zant's mental breakdown. I actually took more damage from him than I did from Ganondorf's three forms combined.

I agree. I don't mind Ganondorf being in the story as long as it's done right and that he shouldn't be such a main focal point.
On a side note, what do you think of the other minor villains such as Veran, General Onox, and Vaati?

Let's look at the other times we saw Zant:
He walks into the throne room. He doesn't need to say anything. The slow pace, the dark music, the cries of his twilight beasts...you know you're boned. I'm Zant, f'aggots. All your Hyrule is belong to me.
Link just beats the Water Temple. Feeling pretty dang good about himself. Hell yeah, saved another light spirit. WAIT, STOP. Zant's in the house. Light spirit? I eat those for breakfast. Begone. Midna? Fool. You are too weak to stop me. Rapes. Link? Honestly? Have fun being stuck as a wolf. And just like that, you know Zant is powerful and not to be messed with.
Zant was a pathetic coward before he met Ganondorf. We saw him crawling on his knees, too weak to gain the power he desires. But then he meets the man who can grant his wishes. After that, we have awesome Zant.
Now tell me why on earth he had to revert to his pathetic f'aggot side right before his most important battle? Mental breakdown? I don't buy it. He had his mental breakdown before he met Ganondorf. Why was he having another? ESPECIALLY NOW OF ALL TIMES? He couldn't have maintained his collected, powerful attitude for an epic battle? He breaks down BEFORE the battle? Ugh. That is why I was disappointed.
And that's not even mentioning the battle itself. I actually really enjoy the whole concept of revisiting previous boss battles. However, they were all disappointing and should not have been wasted on such an important battle. Have battles like that leading up to Zant (like how it was done in WW) and then give him a truly epic final battle. Instead we get a few lame revisits and Zant spinning around like a lunatic. Absolutely terrible battle. I took more damage during his LOL SPINNING phase than during Ganondorf, too, but that doesn't make it a good battle. It didn't feel epic, and it didn't do justice to how powerful Zant had previously been seen as.

Didn't see Herbert's question when I started posting.

I really liked Onox and Veran. I would have no objections to them getting their own 3D game. The 2D LoZs are very fun, but they never register in the grand scale of things for me as much. The story never feels as developed/important/whatever. I think they'd have potential to be awesome. I preferred Veran over Onox.
Vaati? Eh... I never liked him. Actually I don't even like the whole Four Sword story as a whole.

To be fair, Zant doesn't really start freaking out until after you slap him around a bit.

I mean, if you were pretty confident that you'd win only to get your ass kicked by some guy in tights you'd flip out too.

A bit old news, but yea, can't wait for old man link.
Also, from what Miyamoto said so far, it's going to be graphically more impressive than TP. No cell shading, please. Red Steel 2 is enough, and it actually makes it work.

Yeah, I guess he does stay pretty cool before it starts. Sorry Zant. My memories must be skewed because of the tears of utter disappointment I cried. That battle could have been so good and they gave us that... I just can't forgive them.
To counter, Ganondorf doesn't turn into a wacky fruit basket after you defeat him. And he's been defeated by Tights Man way too many times. He instead tries to bring castles down on top of you or vow vengeance no matter how long it takes. He's a real villain.

Plus he dies standing up. Only real men die on their feet.
