It probably happens with mounts that have soaring then. It happened with my Owl.

Maybe they did it intentionally to stop the thing that people do at that boss

hp bars don't show up at the top of teh screen for me at boses.
monster level and name tags, and the mini hp bar above the target does not show up.
i cannot mine or craft.
i don't hear the usual "dropping" sound of items when i drop items nor if others drop items. but they hear it.
i have issues talking in the game after i cc or log in, or enter a new map. my allchats wont' display for aw hile. alliance/party chats, etc, wont' display either for a bit.

everything except the chat issue has been resolved...
all i did was catch up on a few windows updates i've been putting off

Oh, so there is some kind of exploit going at the Empress? It would not surprise me one bit since it's the usual illegit or semi illegit scum who sells the gear. At least in Khaini.

When using Paralyze skill on my Arch Mage F/P, it freezes my screen for around 30sec-1min when I hit 8 mobs. Not with 6, or 7, but with 8 ( which is the max number).

Same thing happens to me when I use Big Bang. Except, I get a 1 second lag.

Mounts are usable in empress.
So is soaring.

When Nexon caught on to Kenta giving out 10 closeness each time you did that quest making it easy to obtain level 30 pets in 1.5-2 hours at most they fixed it by not even making the quest function properly anymore. Glitch of course but it's probably been about 4+ months now she's been broken and not making your pet walk faster.

No, I tried it a while ago and I only got 10 closeness the first time.
That was pre-chaos however.

Kenta's a male. All the quests show him as a guy.

No, it works like it should, but not on a select few pets that Nexon forgot to add. I made my Jr. Reaper faster after Ascension.

Yeah works for some pets. My perma Kino follows me closely but the Perma White Tiger wont.

speaking of mounts, silver mane quest has disappeared. using my lvl 126 hero, i went to kenta with my piggy and no quest was available.

Heh, Explorers have to wait an extra twenty levels and pay double the price to get their first mounts, and now they can't even upgrade them...

Your hog needs to be level 3 or higher.
