Character worth

TT without SE does comparable damage to a MM doing Strafe only or a Corsair doing RF only (and in most cases it actually does less).

If MMs are weak enough compared to BMs to be considered bad, NLs are only worse.

Well ok that sounds right, but we got the speed and mobility.. But i guess that wont count for pomegranate at a stationary boss.

How much would 1 blast of a MM's strafe do at 18X, out of curiosity? Lets say its a pretty good bowguy, but not some kind of freak with perfect gear or such.

With a Warrior Elixir and MW and a couple bil funding I'd say 60kish Strafes on average, with max individual arrows doing 22k+.

I can't help but think that this thread has derailed at some point.

I know we MM have our pride and all, but comparing damage at bosses was not the point of this thread methinks.

Only slightly derailed if your view of your character's worth is based off how well it can boss. Looking at some of the posts I think it's safe to say atleast some people view it this way.

But wait, in MapleStory.. isn't Ranged Classes the best/easiest/fun way to go?

my range goes up to 84xx with mw 30, i have no perfect item whatsoever, hell most of m stuff isnt even hammered.

acording to my wifeboy made calculator i do a max crit of 26526 per arrow and a min of 21151. non crit i do from 6221 - 7011. with an average strafe damage of 78528. this is on oblivion 2 monsters (where i train).

my dmg range is 6677 - 8182 with mw 19 and 12 attack elixer.

That sounds about the same as my night lord then give or take, of course triple throw is much more unstable but a tad faster. Good to know for future reference.

I don't think you should choose characters based on what others think about it :/ But that's just me.
Fun and best are sort of opinionated. Easiest? If you mean by training, it depends on the class, what skills they use, if they know how to use them, and where they're training at.

Hmm. To me, the only classes i would consider getting to 120 + are corsairs, MMs, Paladins and Bishops. They would seem like the most fun to me.

I'll say you are damn well equipped, thats almost double my range(36xx-44xx no mw or pot) and I'm lv 171, but yeah everyone knows I'm the weakest MM around.
