I completely understand what you mean Eos. As a member of the US Army, there are things I can and cannot do. There is standard I am held to and at all times am required to meet it. Regardless of what political, religious, or moral opinions I may have regarding a situation, I am required to behave or act in a professional manner regardless of how I feel about the situation. It's not easy, but it takes, as you said, thick skin but also some degree of maturity and professionalism. Personally, I think people nowadays, especially the younger ones are pansies. Take the ass chewing and move on with your life. Nothing personal, it's just business.
