Guardians, BF, Elder Wraiths' "glitched" KB intentional?

Exactly the argument I presented when this discussion first came up, quite some time ago. Anyone remember what thread that was in? I'm sure it would be enough to /thread this one.

I thought of another monster that does it too, but without turning invisible: Pap's first form, when it retreats into the clock. It's just such a natural thing it doesn't occur to us. Yeah though, that's exactly what I mean by a visual cue.
