Well for Zakum in particular, Mesos Explosion became useless after the release of Onyx Apples about 1.5 years ago?
With the release of 4th Job, Mesos Explosion is never needed for any Bosses. In Horntail, I rarely see Shadowers in an attacking party. And half the time, Horntail is doing the moving for them
, and then the Shadower walks back to hang on the rope. Not to mention, Mesos Guard burns your mesos with no compensation and I'd guess that Shadowers are also the biggest Safety Charm burners at Horntail =p.
