My issue, I guess, is that if you un-slot a nebulite, you lose it, along with whatever alien cubes were used to create it.
It means you can never resell nebulites, unless you want to resell the entire item it's slotted on. So the only nebulites that are good to slot on endgame equips are endgame nebulites - if you go with 'second best' you'll eventually lose it and whatever it cost, if you decide to upgrade. And good luck trading your "perfect weapon with B rank nebulite" for anything more than "perfect weapon without nebulite" is worth.
