Guess what the laptop she brought with her own money was NOT USEABLE battery was old or dead since he replaced that the power cord I'm gonna assume was broken so even if the battery wasn't dead she would only have hours left on it anyway and the software upgrade I'm gonna assume that entails a new OS the updated versions of word power point etc the only thing she owned of that laptop was the frame it came in. laptop she might of owned it but I'll say again who supplies the place you keep it the internet to use the electricity that charges it. Yea two of those fall under the obligation of a parent but I can simply stop you from charging it or even keeping it in the house.

Umm is a mannerism of trying to remember something not oh let me make this up. Your entire argument is based on the fact that everything the girl has said is true from an ANGRY rant post anger tends to lead you to blow things out of proportion as she did with the list of chores she had to do she didn't have to clean the entire house for example it was just her room and her own laundry. The father wasn't comparing what he did as a kid to her in that way hes saying I had all these responsibility that I had to fulfill you have a very little to do and yet you complain. It doesn't seem little to her but in reality outside of her own little bubble people in THIS day and age do a lot more then her and would probably tell to get over it.
It isn't a opinion it is fact that this type of thing has happened before the only thing I'm assuming is that a conversation took place about why you shouldn't be doing that.
Perhaps opinion was a bad choice of words more like speculation. All of your evidence is based on the post he read it's like you didn't hear his responses to the claims in her post by the way it's where I'm getting my information from. All your educated assessment is that of an angry 15 going on 16 year old girl.
Posting it on facebook in the first place is what allowed her to be caught there are other ways to vent to other people and have a much less chance of being caught and this happening in the first place. I already listed a few
I never once said this was the punishment that needed to be handed out I did say however that a punishment needed to be handed out. I think we all agree that bullets to a laptop is a bit extreme. Then again he did just spend all that money fixing it for her only to find out one of the things shes done with it.
