She deserved it he probably posted it to show her friends and other parents that this kind of crap is unacceptable and there are consequences for your actions. This was hers. Lets put it this way I bet she wont ever do something like that again. if she does shes rather foolish and really needs a belt to the ass. Which I'm sure with a father whose willing to pull a .45 on her laptop is quite familiar with it.
He mentions she did it once before, not multiple times, and even then we don't know the time gap between both events. We don't even know the time gap between her post and his dad finding out. For what I get from the video, he spotted that post while he was upgrading her comp. She probably had her comp to remember her Facebook password.
Anyway, my point is, even if there had been a point on making the video, there was no point on making it public. If he said the same things to her personally, there was no point for saying it all in again in a video. If he said nothing of what's in the video to her in person (which she isn't supposed to watch anyway) then it accomplishes nothing at all. If he wanted her friends and her parents to learn what she did is wrong he could have talked directly to them about how it is wrong and what to do, not to her.
Either he made it a show so people would actually watch and pay attention or his ego was hurt and he wanted to help it heal by showing everyone "whose the boss".
