Not wanting to sleep with an ugly girl is shallow, but a common attitude, and I'm not going to repeat what posters above me said.
Considering over 90% of the people around you "ugly" for no flaw other than not being exotic, however, goes beyond shallow to deliberate self-sabotage. Sounds like you lack confidence so you find excuses to approach no-one.
