The only way anything other than visual media will be affected is if we can use this same technology to extrapolate computer code from our thoughts. There's no way video games would be affected aside from easier creation of cut scene material. A video from the mind can't be made into a video game unless you're extracting imagery to convert into sprites or maps and even then you have to write reaction code. The industry won't be INFERIOR (depends on how it's used i guess), but not a lot of businesses won't be untouched by such a thing becoming a household appliance.
