1) Performance is EVERYTHING on a (i)Phone. I don't care if you don't care about performance, when you get one, you will learn to care. Most of the things people whine about with previous gen phones get ironed out extremely fast. The last real problem was the fact that you couldn't get from the lock screen to the camera fast enough to take a picture of something happening in real time both because it lacked performance and because doing that involved 2-4 steps that all have an extremely considerable load time. New phone will have like 3x the speed and the camera button RIGHT ON the lock screen, so this was solved.
What remains as a major problem imo is just that the video recorder is TERRIBLE. Mostly in quality. 8 megapixels will probably change that a lot though.
2) You can multi task on iphones since the 3rd generation. Double click home button.
