Could this mean Monster Familiar may come to GMS?

So does anyone want to explain what the deal is with this "Monster Familiar" and what it does? Or does it do what it "says on the tin"?

Monster Familiar was a JMS addition in where you can collect certain monsters and use them as your pets. They will also attack other monsters with you. It's like a summon, actually.
