Marksman or Bowmaster

I'm really glad you started this thread, because I'm in the same boat. But, my first char was a Ranger, but I messed it up...technically no, but in my case yes. So, I sold it to a friend and I'm starting over.

What went wrong? Strafe-first. Now normally that would be a good thing, but it forces me to train at Squids. Usually a good thing, right? Not in my case. I died faster than I could gain the EXP from training there. If I had Blizzard, it would have been much easier. Now if I went AR first I wouldn't be having this problem, but I didn't. So really, knowing what I know now I would've gone Sniper or AR-first, but too late. If you're able to train at Squids like normal people then it's all good, but for me, I just kept dying lol.

Mind you, there's still the option of AR first. Also, I've been to 8X on a Ranger before, but I've never played a Xbow, so that's another factor. There's also the factor of me wanting to shoot myself in the face when I train with a Sniper on my map because the sound of Xbow-Strafe really pisses me off. I could mute SFX though...or just get used to it. I'm sure if I had trained from 1-70 on a Xbow I wouldn't mind it.

But...rawr. I'm really bad wtih decisions too, lol.
