So apparently equips DO matter in pvp.

I sometimes pvp with a level 47 dagger(73 attack) instead of my 155 attack killic and I see no noticeable difference in killing time at all.

I agree. I'm in chaos and since we have to rely on potential stats to be statless (I can in no way equip my pescas with 40 base in pvp...) I use the clean beginner dagger from first job advancement. I see other DB's using blood daggers and I still manage to beat there score and overkill them.
