Yes, it's worth it.

By the way, has anyone tried using Slash Blast with it? It still appears to hit multiple targets, but it seems to deal like 1/5 the damage of the first FA on the second target it hits, and another 1/6 of that (i.e. 1/30 of the first FA's damage) on the third.
