Am I just jaded? Most of the current articles from Science! and ASM are provided upon release. Is there really a need to keep up with the most current scientific experiments without waiting for them to be printed into textbook format? Amusing, yes. Interesting, yes. Informative, yes. This also files under why you pay for a New York Times subscription. Crucial to day to day activities? Not so much. Most of the people who are interested in scientific articles are individuals who are willing to pay and maintain the subscription or who get it free anyway.
